10 x Oxygenating Weed Live Pond Plant ELODEA DENSA - Also Aquarium Aquatic Plants

I used this product for my garden pond. I tried all aquatic shops to purchase this item, and they all said that I would not be able to purchase until the end of April. I was so surprised to see you could purchase such an item on the internet and that it was going to be dispatched within a couple of days, which it was. Upon receipt, I have never had such a healthy bunch of water plant. I've never ever purchased such a healthy crop from a shop. I will in future always buy from this supplier.

Have been buying pondweed from Biotope for a while now. Recently we got a batch that was not the usual quality and sent a message to the seller. The seller responded by sending another batch which is very healthy, no questions asked. Will come back again for more and happy to recommend

I was a bit skeptical about buying plants online, but am now converted! The plants arrived in a really healthy state and continue to grow for weeks after planting in my fishtank. The only reason I need to order more is because my fish like to nibble at them all day. The plants are better and cheaper than at my local fish shop. Great service and great quality.

They arrived in a good condition in June 2020, but having just cleared the pond less than 12 months later I've discovered that almost all the securing white plastic weights have come off, leaving the Elodea floating uncontained in the water. Will look for bunches with the tighter securing metal rings instead next time.

Used for science lessons. Despite being delivered to work and left in the packet over the weekend this stuff was in great nick and was soon producing bubbles from photosynthesis when a lamp put on it. Also lasted very well. Will use again

Great plant's for my aquarium loads of new shoots on them, also roots forming half way up each plant, as they got pretty tall I cut each stem level to new roots and put them in pots with pebbles from tank and now have 15 plants. The fish love them.

This nearly killed all of my aquarium shrimp. I soaked and rinsed the weed before adding to my fishtank but after an hour or two of it being in there I found all my cherry shrimp in a pile in the corner. The larger shrimp species were not showing symptoms yet but I have since noticed some discolouration of my amano shrimps. After removing the weed, putting as many shrimp as I could catch in to temperature water conditioner treated tap water and doing a 80 percent water change plus adding a water conditioner to bind heavy metals, I managed to save them. I tested the water while the weed was in there and chlorine, ammonia and nitrite were 0, nitrates about 10 so it wasn't a problem caused by disturbed substrate. (Disturbance was minimal). They must add pesticides to the water where the weed is grown so it's not suitable for any aquarium with invertebrates in it. As of writing this review, there is no warning on the page to say this. It mentions adding it to aquariums so it sounded safe. I have binned this weed so it was a waste of money. It is possible to spends several weeks removing pesticides from water plants but I don't have a spare bucket and would rather not risk it.

I ordered the ELODEA Pond Plant to put in my water tank at the end of the garden along with a couple of other plants, these arrived promptly, well packed and still moist - I do not keep fish but am trying to keep the air in the tank oxygenated and moving using a small solar fountain in an attempt to dissuade mosquito and midges from laying their eggs in there!! It seems to have done the trick so happy and am now considering making the tank into a water plant feature!

Pflanzen sind in einem Guten Zustand angekommen.sind im Teich,mehr kann ich noch nicht sagen,da ich abwarten muss,wie sie sich weiter entwickeln.

Venditore affidabile e corretto. Le piantine sono arrivate un po' brutte per il troppo caldo e il ritardo della consegna da parte del corriere. Sono sicuramente da acquistare online in un periodo più mite.
