The refill box says 'not suitable for air conditioned rooms' - does anyone know why?

Air con units circulate air. Moisture is condensed out and when this happens the chemicals in the air can be dumped out with the condensate.

sorry never used it in uk, but it works in Greece where mossies are bad it might work on midges in this country.The only thing is you will need a uk adaptor plug as the jungle formula plug in only has 2 pin for use abroad.hope this helps.

Somehow I can not open the cap on the bottle ( I turned both way but neither of them worked)

Press the cap down and twist. Its a bit like medicine bottle tops.

Mosquitoes deterrent but not uk plug

Easy to put together and seems to be working but didn’t realise that the plug is not UK so have to use an adapter. This is only reason I’ve not given 5 star rating. It needs to be on at least half a day for you to notice mosquitoes are deterred.
