They’re flat back which makes them very comfortable. You thread the back of the earring through the back of the piercing and screw the ball in at the front. They are a bit fiddly but secure once in place. The earrings are good quality, would recommend. You thread the back of the earring through the back of the piercing and screw the ball in at the front. They are a bit fiddly but secure once in place. The earrings are good quality, would recommend.

Was extremely difficult to actually put it on especially for the helix piercing, it took me almost an hour. It looks very like its very good quality, 8 mm is perfect size for what I was going for. If the installation was at the end and not the head, would give 5 stars. Still recommend for the price.

Good
I was going to put this through a freshly pierced earring I’d had done at Claire’s but the shaft is thicker than a normal earring so won’t fit yet. I ended up using the 8mm for my labrets. They are nice and shiny. Good to have various sizes. These are easier to put the ball on as the ball has the screw on the end of it not inside of it. I’m pleased with my purchase.

Tiny and comfortable
Value for money for sensitive ears. Such a relief with a flat back. I bought the 8 mm one for my helix. Its the second time in two weeks I've ordered it though as the first one fell off and I didn't even notice it, there's no way I'll find it again as it's super tiny. It's fiddly to get in but it feels secure once it's in (besides that the first one disappeared 🤷♀️) hince the 4 stars as I lost the first one. I bought it in hope that piercing bump will go down, adventually, we'll see. I used a tiny loop piercing before this which irritated my ear so much and it was awful trying to sleep on it, switching to a flat back one has already made a difference in comfort for me. I mean, I didn't even notice when it was gone 🤷♀️

the balls are a little hard to screw on but that’s just all flat backs, excellent quality and so comfy

Not sterile! Ear infection!
Used these for my completely healed second and third lobe piercings. My lobes started swelling and went completely red and hot so I went to my piercer and she told me I had an infection and she changed them out to completely sterile bars. Normally my ears take cheap titanium jewellery like this well as additionally I always wipe all my kit with alcohol sterile wipes but there was clearly some other factor of bacteria that was at play that couldn’t be solved with an alcohol wipes. My piercer didn’t charge me a penny for the replacement sterile jewellery or the jewellery change. Save yourself the infection and antibiotics, just go to your piercer. Lesson learned!!!
