XD Card Reader USB for Olympus & Fujifilm XD Picture Card - LUPO Adapter

My old laptop has a built in xD/SD combo reader. I still use some old cameras that only use xD cards so I keep the laptop to use with the old cameras/xD cards. Until recently all still worked well but, presumably, a windows update changed something and now only the SD reader slot shows in windows. To be fair, the laptop is a 12 year old Win 8 original thing and shouldn't really be working at all with Win 11, but it does. My wife has an identical laptop running Win10 and the xD reader on that has stopped working too. That's windows 'progress' for you. However, I still have a shedload of xD cards with loads of pictures still on them. I find my Fujifilm F20s easy to use and the pictures are still ok, useful for eBay, meter readings, leaving in the car, etc. and, if I drop them, it won't be a disaster. I doubted an USB reader like this one would work but I'm pleased to say it was a simple plug'n'play installation to get to the picture files again in windows explorer. One of my better buys!

Received item very quickly, however first one didn't work at all, however this was replaced without me returning it! Second one was working (light was coming on) but somehow couldn't get it to download photos. However our son soon sorted it & it has been excellent. We have now managed to retrieve all our photos from the camera. I have to say I can't fault the customer service I received, so a big thank you.

I bought this card reader as I had upgraded my laptop to a Sony Vaio with Windows 7. The laptop, unlike my previous one does not have a PCMCIA card adaptor slot. With this little device it is so simple to just slot in the memory card then plug the Lupo into any spare USB socket. Being so small I can still plug other devices into the adjacent USB socket, a point to bear in mind when considering the more bulky USB card readers on the market. It has proved 100% reliable, is very good value and most efficient and I thoroughly recommend it. B.Brown in Redhill

xd memory car reader really great piece of kit .Havig lost the original cable for the transfer of photo's from my camera to my computer I thought I wouldd take a punt at this and boy did I really make a great choice Plug and play , No drivers required Mac recognised it instantly. I had photo's copied to my desktop and uploaded to drop box well within 30 minuits To add to this the reader was in my hands within 18 hours from placing the order. Would I buy this item from LUPO again? Yes without hesitation. (If I needed it) Only negative if you can call it that,is its USB 2 could do with being USB 3 other than thats its a great bit of kit

If you are buying one of these it’s because you have an older camera which doesn’t use as card, this is a useful tool to transfer those valuable photos straight to your pc with buying an expensive built in XD slot

I had an extremely old digital camera (pre 2004) which had stopped working due to a faulty AA battery which leaked and destroyed the camera. After this purchase I was able to insert the memory card into this device and save the photos to my laptop, so years of memories and my late father. Very fast postage.

This is a card reader for use on XD cards only. I am using it on a Olympus camera and is just what is needed to transfer the pics to a computer for processing and printing. It is easy to use and install. Work great and come in on time and are just as promised. And at a price of only about $5 is a deal not to miss.
