Order the next size up. I typically wear 11.5 wide so when that size isn't available I buy a 12. This method hasn't failed me yet. Good luck.

How easy are they to get into and out of with the side zipper

Easy! It’s a zipper. Keep in mind that shoe laces will be undone after removal. Every time you put boots on you’ll have to redo laces.

how high is it from the top of the boot to the stitching? Hubby needs ankle support and want to know how high the top of the boot hits the ankle

They are not the same inside and out.

One looks and feels much different than the other. On the outside one toe cap is lower than the other.On the inside one is lower than the other. These boots just don't match each other. Walking in them would cause all sorts of pain because of this.*Unless you luck out, & one of your legs is longer than the other & one of your feet is not like the other, & that accidentally happens to match the boots you were shipped.
