British Fossils Set of Diamond Cut Marble Paperweights (Set of 3)

The different types of stone my paperweights were made from was gorgeous and interesting and they arrived in perfect condition. They are a good size for a desk or side table and we’re just what I needed for a windy desk when I have the window open. The quality exceeded my expectations. These are very good value - if you bought them individually from a crystal shop I would guess they would be at least £20 each.

Absolutely loved these online and sought them out for my desk at home. To my surprise I found I’d accidentally ordered two lots (so six in total) and to be honest, I’m glad I did as each of the stones are unique and very tactile. They came in slightly different colours to each other so they will look good in all colour schemes. The pattern on them is varied but very attractive. I had a couple which had a few more rougher edges but I was looking for paperweights which were different and interesting. If I wanted perfect I would have ordered something else! These are so lovely, my partner has even asked if he can take some to work with him as he loves the size and shape of them. As paperweights, they are not only attractive and different, they actually do the task at hand of keeping papers weighted! Although depending on how big your papers are, you may need more than one - so it’s useful to have three in one package! Or six in my case!

Bough on behalf of my mum and she says they are amazing quality, better than she thought she would get for the price. And they are a good size too. Kirsty

They look pretty nice. One of them did arrive chipped, though. Still 4 stars since they are pretty nice and was only the one that was chipped. Fixed it up pretty good too so not really noticable except for me.

The items arrived on time and seemingly well packaged, (or so it appeared), in a sturdy box, nestled in straw like packing. However, on inspection, while they're as described; a good size and weight, it's disappointing to note that a number of the edges/corner points, on two of them, have slight chips, which detracts from the overall effect, especially as I now know that they're imperfect. If they have indeed been hand-carved and polished, as advertised, then perhaps the imperfections are down to inadequate and poor packaging - perhaps bubble-wrap would have been better - but this should have been added as a caveat in the description, to avoid others feeling the same as I now do. Obviously, I have the option to return/swap them for others, but there's also no guarantee that replacements will be any better, so while it's a shame, I'll probably keep them, but forever be aware of their imperfections. Caveat emptor - buyers beware!!

I'm impressed. One of these was a little chipped out of the box, and other reviewers have reported the same thing. The chipping is only very minor though and for three decent lumps of marble, at this price, I'm not going to take a star off. They were bought as a gift but now I'll have to get my own set as well!

Bought these to keep my CD's in place on a shelf because they were falling off. Also got one on the fireplace as decoration. They are quite small but very decorative and heavy and I'm happy with them.

Excellent quality, fast service. I gave them as gifts to my coworkers when I retired. Everyone was pleased.

Drei schön geschliffene Steine (mathematisch „Kuboktaeder“) die als Briefbeschwerer oder einfach als nettes Objekt für den Schreibtisch dienen können. Wurden gut verpackt geliefert und hatten keinerlei Beschädigungen. Unter den Farben waren drei verschiedene: schwarz, braun und rosa. Liegen gut in der Hand und haben ein schön schweres Gewicht.

i solidi sono stupendi, li utilizzo come props per set fotografici, ho dovuto però renderli perchè sono arrivati sbeccati. Sono imballati in un foglio di pluriball, tutti assieme, senza scatola. Imballaggio PESSIMO per oggetti del genere. Spero che i prossimi arrivino integri...
