It also squeaks, which I expected, but didn't see mentioned in the product description. It is made of the same rubbery plasticy stuff all dogs toys are made of, so inevitably met its end in small pieces, but my dog loved chewing it and surely all these toys have a limited life due to being so tempting to chew?!? For the price you can't complain.
