I think it will be helpful, but have yet to find out just how often I need to charge it (it was supplied charged) and how effective it is in practice.The brush comes with concise but adequate instructions. I am a little concerned that some object might press the "on button" so that it starts heating up inside my bag without my knowledge (rather like a toothbrush being activated in one's luggage as has happened to me). So, I try to position the brush so that this is unlikely to happen, which seems like a drawback.
