Q: It's this product ok for fine and fragile hair?

I have fine hair, although it is not fragile. If you have fragile hair, permanent dye is not for you, regardless of whether or not your hair is thick or fine. I would do a semi permanent color, or, if you really want to use permanent color, buy 10 or 20 volume developer only and switch it out with what's in the box. Otherwise you may end up really hurting your hair. I always recommend using a repair shampoo and conditioner always even if you don't dye your hair, if it is indeed fragile

Q: Can I use it on freshly washed hair?

Hi! Thank you for contacting Clairol. For best results, the hair should be shampooed 24 to 48 hours prior to using the product. The scalp has natural oils that help to protect it during coloring. We hope this was helpful!
