I purchased this for my granddaughter's 10th birthday. When I first set up the light box and used cord to turn it on, I was so happy with the purchase.Then I realized it doesn't charge and needs batteries. I used Duracell and put them in exactly as directed on battery compartment. Turned on and it was perfect.I was so excited I wanted to show my daughter. I picked up the box and the back was all slimy and hot. Opened up the battery compartment ant the batteries were foaming. Still hot, my husband got them out and put in water. The box was not even on!Cleaned up the box. Used cord and it worked.Her birthday is tomorrow, so I will use it.BUT PLEASE DON'T YSE BATTERIES.If I had wrapped that, who knows what could have happened.

My son wanted one of these, so he got it for Christmas. Just wish it had a few more letter tiles of the common letters.

When I opened this it was much smaller then I expected. However when I dropped it from high up accidentally and it was perfectly fine, I knew I got more than what I paid for. Lights up nicely. Comes with lots of letters numbers and symbols for customizing. Set this on my resin stand at the farmers market.

Bought this for my friend at work for when she goes on Skype calls and cannot be disturbed. Everyone who saw it loves it. The center pieces that you slide the tiles in were not the best, one actually came un-clicked from the main body and sliding the tiles in is difficult now, I had to rig it up with some sparkle crystal adhesive strips to really bedazzle it

It's amazing in everyway but to be honest it's not as bright as I thought it was gonna be.

The edges of the letter and emote things are pretty sharp. They're also easy to bend and break, if not careful. I do have a few broken ones (a few were broken on their own, like out of the package & I remember breaking some by mistake). When when they are broken, of course, they are more sharp and it does hurt. I just wanted to put this out there for everyone to be safe with this. & Just as well, I don't think it's something little kids (7-8 and under) should be handling and doing by themselves.Besides that, I do like mine. The lighting is nice, and putting phrases and stuff together from time to time is really enjoyable. It's a nice thing everyone should have in their room I think. If you got some free space somewhere and this seems fun you might as well get one!

absolutely love this little thing! i've already written quite a few messages and they make great pictures to take for social media. i would also gift them to people who work in offices, classrooms, really anywhere, because they are super fun and a real eye catcher. i love that it has emojis! i don't even think i realized it had emojis when i bought it, so it just made it that much better when i got it. i saw something about a remote where you would be able to change the color? i don't know about that, i bought the biggest size and mine didn't come with a remote. but it's cool regardless of that. the only thing i would suggest is perhaps this company could create like a buyable add-on, a small box with files to keep your letters and emojis in order and easy to access. i have my letter laying all across a table right now trying to think about how i'm going to organize and put them away so they don't get lost and i can find each letter easily. if they sold some type of organizer and additional letter/emoji packages, i would definitely buy those too. anyway, thanks!

The media could not be loaded.  It works well! I like the variety of colours and emoji squares!I use it so no one disturbs me during live meetings/class.It requires 6 batteries, but the batteries lasted me about 5 months with having the sign on for about 2-4 hours a week.

This is a fun gift. If I could re-design it...it would have the power cord enter in the back of the unit, this is in the side so it is unsightly. Also I would include a little storage box with dividers for the letters. After you separate all the letter and pictures, they become all jumbled and takes time trying to setup new sayings. I like to keep in the kitchen and change daily with message things like "chicken night!" or "Back to school" etc...

I have ordered a couple of different light boxes that came with very thin flimsy letters that the slightly move would cause the letters to fall out. These letters were thick so it keeps your message perfectly in place. An added bonus is the magnet at the back so you can leave cute messages on your fridge.

So I almost returned this because the box said 85 letters/symbols, and I’d ordered the one with 190 letters/emojis... but i opened the box and indeed all the emojis and letters were there! Didn’t plug in- it’s going to be a Christmas present for my daughter. Will leave another review after she tries it out!

Love it, emojis and letters will give this little boy a lot to be creative with. Nice soft glow, not overpowering. He loved it and very happy with the purchase. FYI I think they call this out, it does come with a usb cable but no adapter. You can also use batteries.
