Visit B as in Boracay, eat L as in Lumpia, and ride a J as in Jeepney in this fun, educational book for Filipino children, or for anyone who wants to learn more about Filipino culture! Learn about Filipino Favorites From food favorites and beautiful landmarks, to colorful animals and historical parks! Fun Rhymes for Everyone Whether you're Filipino or not, aged six or one hundred, These rhymes will bring smiles to your face as they're read! Cute, Hand-drawn art in Large Print Size Cute, hand-drawn art accompanies the text. You'll always want to turn the page to see what's next! The Perfect Gift for Filipino Friends For new Filipino parents Or actually, it doesn't matter who! This book is a great gift for anyone to introduce Filipino culture to! Review: Nakaka Gigil! - The illustrations in this book? Absolutely *adorable*! We went for the hardcover version, because, well—you know how toddlers love to "test" a book's durability. Thankfully, it’s beautifully made, inside and out. If you want to read this with a toddler, keep in mind that the pages AREN’T board-book material so it will NOT be sturdy enough to survive snack-time fingerprints and enthusiastic page-turning; best to turn the pages yourself until they can gently turn it themselves. As for the content, it’s a wonderful little introduction to Filipino culture, filled with the best of our food, landmarks, traditions, and those uniquely charming Tagalog words (like “Gigil”!). I just know this will be a favorite, and I can't wait to snuggle up with our little one and read through it over and over (and over…) for years to come! Review: 5 stars, love it! - Absolutely love this book! My son is half Filipino and I wanted something age appropriate for him to be able to read about his Dad’s side of the family. My husband also enjoyed reading along with him and laughed and agreed with the things in the book. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | Best Sellers Rank | #64,713 in Books ( See Top 100 in Books ) #4 in Philippines Travel Guides #68 in Children's Asian & Asian American Books #72 in Children's Asia Books | | Customer Reviews | 4.7 out of 5 stars 233 Reviews | ## Images ![A is for Adobo: ABCs of Filipino Culture (Filipino Culture Children's Books) - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61INTedOOqL.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Nakaka Gigil! *by J***L on June 7, 2025* The illustrations in this book?
