**Q: Can a petrol pump fit into this or will I need a funnel?**
A: I fill mine directly from the UK petrol pump nozzle. No need for a funnel. Take it slowly and no spillages. This is exactly why bought this product because I wanted to be able to fill it from a petrol pump when I was out of my motorbike without messing with a funnel.

**Q: What fuel to use with this stove?**
A: Methelated Spirits is the fuel to use with Trangia cookers.

**Q: Anyone find these are slow to pour when fully open? Mine takes ages. I now take the cap off completely to pour fuel**
A: I didn't think about the flow rate. Quite happy with how it is and as you suggest, the cap can be completely removed.

**Q: Can you use this to store and pour bio-ethanol GEL fuel?**
A: It is designed for Methylated Spirit or Fuel4 Bioethanol SPIRIT fuel..............NOT GEL type EG Firedragon.Gel 'MAY' be too thick for the safety valves?But I cannot say 100%.If it was not for the safety valve I would say you could STORE gel in it as the bottles that contain Firedragon are less substantial.The safety valve is to prevent the WHOLE bottle catching fire should you 'think' the flame is out when it is not & then pour fuel on live flame=BOOM!So if you swopped it out for a plain cap.....you will be like the people pouring Petrol from a 5L plastic container on to a Barbeque or fire that they already light but is struggling to start=https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ckuOg0f5Wsg.Dont play with Fire!

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ My go to non-pressurised fuel bottle.

I consider these Trangia bottles to be a godsend for liquid fuels and have used them for years. The spout system gives excellent control for pouring and prevents spillages when used with appropriate care. The plastic bottle is strong, thick walled and more than bomb proof enough to go into a bergen or other bag without worrying about it being crushed or punctured. It is a bit unnerving when opening the cap when it is tight and it can feel like it might not be strong enough for the twisting forces. But I have had no issues. Like anything else, just don't force it beyond what it can likely handle.The pouring spouts enable precise pouring into tight fuel reservoirs, like you might find on some stoves or lanterns. While letting the liquid run at just the right pace to fill your stove (or whatever) but still maintaining control. You inevitably end up with a drip or two due to the nature of the system. But this is minor and considerably better than having fuel run down the bottle sides as what often happens with other fuel bottles. The cap has a loop for hanging. To be frank, I would not trust it for hanging a full bottle. However, it is perfect for attaching a small silicone funnel via mini carabiner. Making it quite easy to return unused and cooled fuel to the bottle. The rubber seals keep the contents where it needs to be and I have had no leaks whatsoever.At 500ml, the ones I use can seem a little small for more than a couple of days of camping, but they are slender, so packing a few into a bag is no problem if you feel the need. I like the smaller ones as I find them very versatile whether I'm out for the day or a bit longer. There is always the 1L option if you need it.I have used one for the last twelve years to carry methylated spirit and it has never let me down. I also recently purchased another to carry paraffin and it does just as well with that also.

These Trangia bottles are not cheap for what they are. That apart, they are very good and effective, They are well made, strong and yet light. The mechanism for deliverring the fuel is exemplary and secure: easy and precise to pour, and secure when packed, no risk of spillage or leakage. Available in three different sizes. They will last, so may actually prove cheaper than the initial price may suggest?

High-quality storage bottle for my Trangia cooker, made of thick, durable plastic. It features a top that prevents accidental discharge of the methanolated spirits and has a scale on the side, allowing you to see how much is stored inside. It has a somewhere to attach a carry clip to make it easier to transport. When in use fluid flows out smoothly. thanks to an air intake. It works really well
