I bought one of these combs at a beauty supply place years ago and have loved it ever since. I noticed the teeth were finally starting to bend. It's still useable, but I wanted to see if I could still get the comb. YUP! I ordered both the cutting comb and the fine tooth comb. I love the metal "rat tail". The tip stays smooth, unlike plastic that gets chewed up, and my hair slides over it so easily. There is a slight spiral groove on it that actually seems to help when I'm parting my hair. I don't know what kind of plastic they use for the teeth, but it slides through my hair more easily than other plastic combs. In fact, this is the only plastic comb I use. I switched to wood combs and boar's hair brushes and refuse to use plastic ...except for Silkomb. Not cheap, but still affordable and they last a very long time. I still haven't tossed my old one!

With curtain bangs this styling comb is recommended. I could not locate my former comb and needed an upgrade, this is a perfect selection. It is a substantial piece for my new look and great for back combing and sectioning too. At present I have included this in a crystal bowl of hair accessories on my bureau. It has joined wet brushes, a round brush, leave in conditioner, hair serum and more. This is much nicer than my former comb but at quite a value price. I love having it at my finger tips, great addition that I can slip into my purse too.

This brand is the best. Metal pick end that is sturdy and makes crisp parts. The teeth are made of high quality plastic without any burrs to catch the hair. The tip of the comb is also excellent at parting without being harsh on the scalp. Don't waste your time on cheaper brands.

My hair is VERY thick which has sent many a rat-tail comb to an early grave. I just kept buying them over and over, but this one is built to last. Those purchases add up, so I am happy that this one will most likely be the last one I buy... unless I lose it which could definitely happen. Get this comb!

i’ve had the same comb for over 5+ years…until tsa confiscated it. it was a cheap old comb but i loved it. so i was looking for a new one and i spotted this. i decided why not get a better comb since ill be using it for a long time. compared to my old comb, this one is 100 times better. it’s heavy and sturdy, brushes through my hair really well and works better for parting hair. it also looks SO nice and chic. recommend for those looking for a quality comb.

Exactly what I was looking for

Bought this to be able to part my hair in the middle as opposed to my usual side part. Works well, really like the stainless steel tail. It’s not cheap but will last forever.
