I love this hair color. I use every time my highlights are getting brassy. I put over the hair for just a minute and is enough to let my hair glow and shine again.

Gives a rich, dimensional blue-black tone that looks glossy in different lighting. Application is straightforward and the color develops evenly. Hair feels soft afterward so rather than overly dry, which is a plus for at-home dye. Nice choice if you want a bold but still wearable black shade.

It was the usual home box dye kit, with color, developer, and a nice after-color conditioner. Some of the flat folded hand protectors were included. Good instructions. I have a patch of grey hair right above my forehead and so I regularly dye my hair black. This dye looked fine and a nice blue black immediately after dying it, however faded completely after only a couple of shampoos, even though it's supposed to be permanent. Usually, the kind of black I buy stays black until my hair grows out and my greys start to show, but this one just washed out and my greys are back and the rest of the color is dull. I saved $4 by buying this brand, but now I need to spend time and money to re-dye it, so it's not worth it if you are covering greys or if you expect it to last and stay vibrant.

Run don't walk to buy this for my blue black loving people. I used two boxes of this to cover my previously RED dyed hair and it has honestly exceeded my expectations. It's not often your hair turns out the colour on the box - the pictures are proof. My hair feels so soft and has so much volume. I hope they never discontinue this colour because I'm in love with it.
