Protects as you
Feels pretty high quality! I use these to handle birds of prey, and I've never had a problem with injuries with these guys on. They fit me well, they're not too heavy, and they're easy to maneuver in!

Great arm protection gloves
I bought these to protect my hands and arms while doing bush and tree trimming. They were a fantastic success. I'm 70 and over the past few years every time I do any trimming I end up with bruises and scapes. These gloves solved my problems while still being able to operate trimmers and chainsaws.

No mention of size- too big for women & most men
The product appears to be good quality. The size is not mentioned, perhaps for good reason. I suspect they would be too big for a man with extra large hands. They are not flexible and for some uses do not need to be. But these gloves are so long and wide that I suspect there would be little control and no dexterity when wearing them.

Great protection
Great gloves I didn’t get bit through the gloves.

Worthless purchase; inner sewing of left hand glove was skewed.
I purchased these gloves so I could put a recalcitrant biting, scratching, wildly twisting, and clawing cat into a cat cage for a Veterinary appointment. Unfortunately I got the gloves too late to check them out beforehand. When I put on the gloves the right one fit well. Great! Lots of extra leather padding and it reached my elbow. Human 1 vs Cat 0, or so I thought. Then I tried to pull on the left hand glove......the inner sewing of this glove was skewed and flawed, making it impossible to put the glove on because the finger/thumb holes weren't for a left hand. And, the leather padding by itself in the palm/finger area is too thin to protect adequetly. So, I used the right glove only and got my left inside palm gouged and bloodied by a determined, not going to the Vet cat. Human - 00, Cat 1. Totally worthless purchase. Buyer Beware. FYI, in cat's defense, this cat is normally a sweet-tempered and loving Tuxedo guy until one opens the doors on a cat cage.

Essential safety gear for working around feral animals
The first time my wife came home from work sporting stitches courtesy of a feral tomcat who did not want to be sedated before being neutered, I immediately ordered her a set of these gauntlets. Clearly the designers had experience on the places cats aim for when biting in self defense, because these are the exact areas reinforced with the kevlar. So far they have protected her from bites and scratches from the angry felines she is prepping for surgery every day. The suede is nice and thick and well-sewn. The blue color is very attractive, and easily distinguished from the sets her employer has laying around in the clinic. She keeps her own set (this set) in her bag and it comes home with her every day. Knowing exactly where your own set is kept keeps you from getting into a time crunch and skipping the protection, hoping for the best. One big plus, is after a scared stray coated one of the gauntlets in feces, they turned out to be easily machine washable, even though they are not advertised as such. They didn't even lose the softness of the leather or their brilliant blue color. If these ever wear out I will immediately buy her another set.
