has anyone use it with msi mortar?

I am assuming you mean msi mortar mother board and yes this cooler will fit. read the spec's, this is a 1151 socket and the cooler fits

Hi guys. I have an older motherboard. Can this cpu fan be hooked up to 2, 3 pin connectors?

you can hook it up to a 3pin connection but then the fan runs at full speed. don't you have a 4pin PWM connection on your motherboard?? you should have on for the cpu if not get and extension 3pin to 4pin then you can control the speed of the cooler

Will this cooler handle 95w tdp cpu's like the new i9?

Theoretically it should be just fine, but I wouldn't try to overclock it. Thing can heat up like crazy.
