hard and shiny, just what I needed.
These are great for what I use them for. The mirror finish is perfect. They're a bit sharp on one side due to the shear method they use to cut the strips - so keep some fine sandpaper handy. I found out the hard way that these are hardened stainless and will burn up drill bits - a metal punch works perfectly on them though.

SS 304 is not magnetic, be aware if you are looking for a magnetic strip.
These strips are nice for what they are. By its' makeup Stainless steel 304 is not magnetic, so don't look to these if you need something to use magnets on. The manufacturer I believe should notate this, since a lot of people wouldn't really need to know the properties of SS 304 in their daily life. Otherwise, this is a decent product. Clean, straight, no damaged or bent pieces in the package. Protective strip on one side that keeps the finish nice.
