Naturals Nature’s Salad, Small Animal Treat for Rabbits, Guinea Pigs, Chinchillas, Degus, Hamsters, Gerbils, Mice and Rats, 200g

All my hams have loved this forage treat. It includes lots of herbs that they love to small (as smell is one of their two dominant senses along with hearing), healthy food treats and seeds. I tend to scatter this one across the cage but in terms of forage I’m more sparing with this one as it contains peppermint and whilst this is safe should only be given in small amounts.

Considering you're getting twice as many herbs than the other salads in this range for the same price you're getting a good deal. My rabbits just love a handful of these a day. They wolf it down in minutes and are always begging for more. We often can't get the stuff in their bowl fast enough, especially if they're padding around our feet anxiously waiting for us to give them their daily treats. The moment a single herb hits the bowl they're straight in there with the rest landing on their heads.

Here is a video of my two gorgeous guinea pigs enjoying their Nature's Salad. They absolutely love it - I put it in an edible bowl in their run for them and when I put them in their run it's the first thing they go to! It's gone within minutes :-). I've found that they prefer the bigger, leafy bits to the smaller bits, so there's always a bit of wastage, but as soon as they see and/or hear me opening the packet to pour some out for them they get all excited and start squeaking! If you have guinea pigs I definitely recommend giving this a try! Only trouble is I have to buy so many now where they like it so much! :-)

I got this mix for my bunny, but I didn’t realise it contains oats and dried corn, which aren’t suitable for him, so unfortunately I can’t give it to him. The mix itself looks good and would probably be great for guinea pigs and chinchillas, but definitely check the ingredients if you have a rabbit. I wouldn’t recommend this particular mix for bunnies because of the oats and corn.

I bought Rosewood Naturals Nature’s Salad for my bunny and it seems like a decent little treat mix. It has a good variety of dried herbs and bits, so it adds a bit of interest to his usual hay and pellets. My rabbit has been quite interested in it and picks through it happily. It’s made from natural ingredients and smells quite fresh for dried food. At £3.19 it feels reasonably priced, especially with Prime delivery. Overall, it’s a simple, handy way to add some variety to a small pet’s diet.

I purchased this for my degus. I give them their treats each night at 10pm they love this stuff, they can't get enough, I have been using it to train them. As any degu owner knows, they squabble. I sprinkle this all over the cage and place all four of them in different corners. They chomp away happily. Now its been going on for two weeks, at 10pm they are chirping for me to give them their treats! Highly recommended - from my degus - absolutely delicious! Caitlin

My 5 months old syrian hamster loved it ! I purchased it for enrichment purposes. She came out of her burrow as soon as I spreaded them around her cage. She had most of it gone by the end of the night ! Will definitely purchase again !

I've purchased this nature's salad forage several times over the past few years and my guinea pigs absolutely love it. It's been a bit more difficult to find nowadays and the price has gone up a bit, but my piggies are incredibly picky, so finding something they truly enjoy is feels worth the extra effort. There's a great mix of herbs, pea flakes and some grains as well that give the piggies plenty to munch on and keep them interested. Not to mention, because of the herbs, it's also nice and fragrant. This company's customer service is also really good. When my package got lost in the mail, they were super helpful and prompt in their assistance, and reshipped this product to me, free of charge. My piggies and I are grateful and we will most certainly be purchasing this product from this seller again in the near future.
