Other than different zip lock bags, which you usually use for freezing, the components of this zip fastening noticeably click together. Thus, it seems that the promises made by the vendor are likely to be true. However, whether or not the bags are actually waterproof up to 10m obviously depends on how thoroughly and firmly the user connects the two sides of the zip fastening together. THIS is something you MUST be aware of - you should make more effort to be thorough, for instance, if you intend to take electronics on boat trips etc. where they might fall in, and you want to keep them safe. THIS is the BUT - the user alone is responsible for making sure that the zip strips are properly closed. That doesn't change the fact that the basic concept of the bag is, in my opinion, pretty sturdy. For this reason, I give it 5 stars. :-)

This doesn't impact the content of my review in any way, of course - the test would be completely pointless from a consumer perspective if it did. This also means that the product was tested from a consumer/user perspective, not a technical perspective. The bags give a sturdy and reliable impression. The material is very thick and sturdy. Other than different zip lock bags, which you usually use for freezing, the components of this zip fastening noticeably click together. Thus, it seems that the promises made by the vendor are likely to be true. However, whether or not the bags are actually waterproof up to 10m obviously depends on how thoroughly and firmly the user connects the two sides of the zip fastening together. THIS is something you MUST be aware of - you should make more effort to be thorough, for instance, if you intend to take electronics on boat trips etc. where they might fall in, and you want to keep them safe. THIS is the BUT - the user alone is responsible for making sure that the zip strips are properly closed.
