My husband already thinks I can't drive so the last thing I wanted was evidence to possibly prove him right. So... after my car was wrongfully assaulted by one of those flexible street mounted crosswalk signs I had to find a way to remove the marks on my fender that was both cheap and easy. Background: truck is ~10 months old, and somehow had sand/other junk stuck in the paint. It has ~22k miles and is a workhorse. As for my experience with a clay bar, it’s been about a decade since I have used one. Alright. I really have zero cons for this product. Here is the process: 1) clean the vehicle, dry it and put it into a cool place to chill out. Cool to the touch. 2) spray a little area and run the bar until it’s glassy smooth. Continue on each panel and do the whole thing. You will see residue after, and that’s fine. 3) Using a micro fiber cloth, simply wipe the area down and clear off said residue. On my truck; it came right off. Now the things I really liked: - they gave you enough bar/solution for my RAM. I could have stretched it to a second, but I dropped it a few times. - the residue that was left behind after using the bar came right up. - it was minimal effort. The sand and other stuff came right up and onto the clay piece I was using. I really have zero cons. If you do this, you will probably need a few other things: 1) micro fiber clothes. 2) some sort of sealant (I use their ceramic quick stuff. Worked well). 11/10 would buy again.
