They arrived with visible cracks on one side of the plastic holder (the headband joint). It looks like a defect in the plastic rather than damage from use, as the headphones were new out of the box. But overall good fit, comfortable for long use, nice noise canceling.

I'm an adult with autism and ADHD, and use I these at my factory job. They work really well to muffle the noises of all the machines, conveyors, maintenence work, etc. I can actually hear my coworkers a bit easier though, which is nice. They also have proved useful in public, like in stores, crowded/loud places, gatherings with too many people talking, etc. I've been more productive and a lot less overwhelmed overall, and I can focus on things easier. I greatly prefer these over earplugs, or having to listen to music/a podcast/whatever with headphones/earbuds and just trying to drown out sound with more sound, and distracting myself in the process. They are also relatively comfortable and so far I prefer the feel of them out of anything I've used. It can be hard to keep a good seal around my ears sometimes though, like when turning my head or wearing a hat, so it takes a bit to get used to that sensation + momentary slight noise level change. It's not too bad though and the headphones may just be a bit too big on me. I only gave them 4 stars because I don't usually give things 5 unless I've used them for a lonnggg time, but so far I haven't had many issues, and they've even held up to my clumsy self dropping them on concrete. I would recommend these to other people with sensory problems, and I'd buy them again if I somehow broke or lost my current pair.

I rarely write reviews. I’ve had these headphones for 48 hours and my life has improved drastically. No exaggeration. It blocks almost all of the sound and muffles what isn’t blocked. It has made me much calmer and more focused. Less agitated and frustrated with all the sounds around me. They are very comfortable and lightweight. If you suffer from overstimulation due to ambient sound, these will help you.

I was late diagnosed as autistic last year and since then I have looked for ways to help me deal with the very loud and distracting world around me. I’ve used ear plugs but I really don’t like how they feel in my ears. I had another pair of headphone-style ear defenders, but they didn’t really do the job and the headband made it look like I had a post-surgery headgear on — not the look I am going for. I have long been envious of Alpine’s Muffy ear protection for kids. They look like headphones and are smaller but still provide excellent ear protection. When I saw that Alpine sells these I hit Buy Now without even thinking. I have been using them for months now and I can honestly say these are my favorite, go-to ear defenders. I still carry my ear plugs just in case or for short-term use like in class, but these look and feel so good that I generally just have them with me anyway, so I pull them out. They fold up and can go in my backpack or my shoulder pack. They expand a good deal. I have a medium to large head, and they fit me fine at the smallest setting, though if I wear sunglasses then I do expand them a bit. With sunglasses on they do not hurt. I do find that if I am wearing sunglasses and I turn my head left or right I can hear more sound, but it’s not enough to cause alarm. I just have really sensitive hearing so I notice it. If I am not wearing sunglasses then this isn’t a problem. I can understand speech pretty well with them on, and especially if I am looking in the direction of the speaker. I will be taking them on a Disneyland trip this summer and I fully expect to be able to enjoy all the fun without any of the auditory sensory issues that I had last time.

Wir hatten die Alpine Racing Pro Ohrenschützer bei der DTM am Nürburgring für meinen 7-jährigen Sohn dabei und sind absolut zufrieden. Die Ohrenschützer lassen sich individuell einstellen und passen selbst kleinen Köpfen hervorragend, ohne zu drücken oder zu verrutschen. Die Lärmreduzierung ist beeindruckend – laute Motorengeräusche werden zuverlässig abgedämpft, sodass auch Kinder das Rennerlebnis genießen können, ohne dass es unangenehm laut wird. Mein Sohn hat die Ohrenschützer während des gesamten Events problemlos getragen; sie sitzen bequem und das Material fühlt sich weich an. Besonders praktisch ist die robuste Verarbeitung und die Möglichkeit, die Ohrenschützer platzsparend zusammenzuklappen und zu verstauen. Wir können das Produkt für Motorsportveranstaltungen uneingeschränkt empfehlen – auch für junge Fans!

Il est leger, agréable sur la tête car ne sert pas trop. Les oreilles rentre en entier a l intérieur. Il est jolie et pas trop gros, passe parfaitement pour un casque audio dans la rue. Je l'ai pris en complément de bouchon moulé (hyperacousie sévère) et ca me fais pas mal d'avoir les deux en meme temps. Au niveau du bruit quand je l'utilise SEUL , il cache assez bien le bruit des oiseaux ma fenêtre ouverte et les bruits de la ville au loin. Ca me permet d enlevé mes bouchons moulé un peu le soir ou le matin. Seul en ville je doute que cela me suffise mais il a l'air de bien couvrir les bruits (il ne les coupe pas, rien ne le peu). En résumé : diminue pas mal les bruits, agreable a porté et jolie.
