Primrose Reflect Acrylic Garden Outdoor Non Shatter Mirror Sheet - Medium Rectangle (4ft x 2ft)

Think carefully about what you want this mirror for and how you are going to use it. This is a very thin piece of acrylic which makes it very flexible. We wanted to use it as a roadside mirror to give us a view up the road for oncoming traffic when pulling out of our driveway. Knowing that we needed to keep it flat to minimise distortions, we glued it onto a sheet of perfectly flat marine plywood. Sadly the wood + glue had enough tiny undulations to distort the mirror. When standing close to it, the reflection is almost perfect, but as soon as you are any distance away, such as on the other side of the road from the mirror, the distortions are magnified and the reflected image becomes unrecognizable.

The mirror arrived impressively quickly and was soon installed in the garden. It is very effective for adding the illusion of more space, which is what was required. I quite like the distortion created by the flexibility of the mirror, although I feel that as it has been secured by a purpose-made frame within a trellis, and is therefore effectively rigid, it should have been possible to eliminate more of the distortion - hence 4 not 5 stars. However, it is crystal clear and excellent value for money. Indeed, I have had to temporarily cover it as one particular small bird kept attacking what it presumably saw as a rival during nesting season.

I found the mirror difficult to glue to the wall. Eventually the glue has damaged the mirrored surface and shows through. It has stayed adhered to the wall after about 5years. However, unexpected problem. Blue tits have attacked it and damaged the surface. Take care when fixing as the reflection is a bit distorted.

The mirror is what you would expect. It’s fine and does what I want. What’s exceptional is the customer service, the first one was damaged, the corner was broken. I had a replacement within two days.

This was exactly what I wanted...I used it to replace three windows in my garden shed which had broken.. Boarded the windows and put the sheet of "glass" over it.. Now reflects a beautiful rose Bush and greenhouse.

Arrived with an annoying curve - inadequately packed. Efforts to flatten not very successful - requires stiff backing -marine ply otherwise it requires screw fixings in centre. Gives an distorted view - only awarded two stars because of this - had already arranged for trademan to come and fit otherwise would have returned it.

Just what we were looking for!Bought to disguise an old fence area in garden. Didn’t want anything too heavy and hard to handle (by senior citizens!) So this proved ideal!

Hours of interest for birds, visitors, and setting as a window or secret door is a wonder.
