Do they dissolve when taken off with acetone? I used some that turned in a jelly type state and came off easily.

Can you apply any type of polish to them or does it have ro be a special type when designing your nails?

Ive used the cheape walmart .99 cent la color polish & Ive used boutique and I'll and of.course gel polish & everything in between. Technique is adjusted depending on what you're using, but they all work. You just need a base coat, either a dedicated one that's usually sort of beige colored or a clear base coat to give it something to grab onto. Although I usually just let my 1st coat of color be very transparent and thin & once that coat is dry, do another thin coat, wait til dry and if it's till not the opacity & color payout I want I repeat as many times as necessary. As long as it's as thin of coats as possible and allowed to dry totally between each coat you wont end up with a thick gloppy mess from more than 2 coats. I highly recommend getting the little chess piece nail holders and poster tack. It's a game changer! I put all my nails on the little horse heads with a small dot of poster tack & then I paint and decorate and let dry 100% before gluing on. It looks so pro! No more smudges or dents or knicks. Plus you dont have to paint with your non dominant hand.
