They are comfortable to hold, and I no longer get pain in my hands from using inferior hooks. They are flatter than many hooks, and far nice to hold and to use. It is worth the investment to buy these hooks. I find them much nicer to use than any others I have tried.I like the fact that they come with a hook cover too on the smaller sizes, so they don't get caught up in your work when travelling. They have a nice pointed tip, which goes through even small stitches with ease. Unlike the more rounded hooks which can be difficult to pick up small stitches with when creating amigurumi animals and dolls.
