I used to use The Beard Struggle which is tbf really good stuff but this tips it, my beard always looks healthy, never itches and a little goes a long way.... a pea sized amount will do your beard and then some, 1000% worth the money I have a fair few Captain Fawcett products and now it's the only stuff I use, honestly everything I've had lasts way longer than anything else I've used and not had a bad smelling one yet.

Great beer smell when washing beard, good lather, followed by the softest beard hair I have ever had, excellent product. Reviewers have wondered about the cost against other beard shampoos, this one will last for ages in this 250ml size, so good value for money after initial investment.

I bought this as I am going on holiday and was in urgent need of a decent beard wash. Upon reading some of the reviews I decided to give this a try. I found the shampoo great for my beard so far, made it soft and easier to style Into shape for when I blow dry it. The scent is not too overpowering of real ale which no doubt is helping my hairs get their softness. The only downside I have is that the lid wasn’t screwed on properly so when I took it out of the sealed plastic bag, some of the shampoo had leaked out. Other that that I would consider purchasing this product again.

Not a bad beard shampoo, does lather well and seems to clean the beard well. As scent and softness goes I prefer seven potions’ shampoo, the IPA scent is a bit too reminiscent of a stale beer mat for me.

Really nice shampoo and even the bottle and cap are great. My new everyday beard shampoo of choice.

This has been a very pleasant surprise. Prior to trying it out, I had been rather happily using Gnarly Joe's Beard Shampoo, which I rather liked. I consider Captain Fawcett's Beer'd Shampoo to be an upgrade for the following reasons: First, it generates a rich and luscious lather using very little product. I always found it hard to get a proper lather going with Gnarly Joe's, and since it was rather liquid I would often lose product before it got to my beard. I don't have that issue with Beer'd Shampoo since it is thick enough. Second, the smell. At first I was rather put off by the idea of infusing my beard with the scent of flat ale. Nevertheless, the smell is actually rather pleasant and I find that it does not linger at all. My beard is left clean and conditioned with a neutral smell -- perfectly placed to be dressed up later on by beard oil or a balm. Third, while it is pricier than Joe's I think I will end up getting a bit more bang for my buck here. Like I said, a little goes a long way. In terms of improvement, I actually prefer the pump in Gnarly Joe's to the flip top in Beer'd Shampoo. This is a minor thing, but it could be a potential for an upgrade. I will be buying this again: the lather, smell and over all experience make it an excellent product for my beard.

I bought this for hubby one Christmas and he loves it! Can't afford it all the time but now and again a treat is in order. It leaves beards soft and smelling nice. Keeps the frizz down a bit more than average and makes it very strokeable. Worth ever penny, if he could have it all the time he would. Great product.

Best beard shampoo I have used to date. Will be the the one and only I ever purchase. Beard is softer and less straggly 3 days after my first use. I now use it every other day. No disappointments with this product at all.

Ho acquistato diversi prodotti di questa marca su eBay e su Amazon in quanto, nei vari barber shop, hanno prezzi elevatissimi (spesso superano i 130 euro). La cosa che più mi colpisce è la semplicità della presentazione del prodotto, con un qualcosa di antico. Andiamo allo shampoo: è veramente buono, al malto di birra, lascia la barba molto soffice con un odore molto particolare, veramente buono. L'utilizzo è quello di un classico shampoo da barba: basta applicare una piccola dose, massaggiare e risciacquare Una volta provata questa linea di prodotti, non credo che cercherò ancora altro.
