So far so good, they look good value for money, they can be opened in the normal fashion by undoing the straps, they are also fitted with quick release buckles to save time and they come with a small lock. In my opinion it wouldn't stop anyone getting in but could put off the casual walk past opportunist thief, you can also remove both bags from the bike by lifting up the flaps (which are not obvious) and unzipping them so you can use them as normal hand luggage. For the price they have some nice features, I've also sprayed mine with a good waterproofing product, I'd still use some good dry bags as these types of saddlebags are renowned for letting in water whether the manufacturer says they won't or not. My bike is an xvs1100 just to give you some scale to the size of the bags.

I purchased these bags in January this year and used them for the first time at the end of June when I rode to Normandy on a Harley Owners Group trip. They were a bit fiddly to attach but looked okay. By the time I got to the Ferry terminal at Newhaven (a trip of 45 miles) two of the four eyelets used to tie the bags to the bike had broken off. When attaching the bags for the return trip, one of the YKK zips was frayed at the bottom where it attaches to the under seat 'central bridge' and was difficult to attach. An hour later the whole zip had given up the ghost. Thank goodness for bungee straps. I contacted the seller (a guy called Amir who was very helpful when the delivery was messed up initially) and explained the situation. He asked for some pictures of the damage which I sent and then he stopped returning my texts, calls and emails. Poor show Amir! I've now purchased some soft panniers and my Wife took the bags to the local dump. Sadly these bag's natural habitat. Seriously boys and girls, don't buy these. Good quality plenty of space but the web is a bit too long for my Hinckley Bonnie should be ok on a fatter bike though (if oxide did a slim bike option it would be five stars) will try to get it sorted as it is too good to return for such a minor hitch

The better half bought me these to go onto my XVS1100 and, whilst they aren't fitted yet, the bags themselves are well made, sturdy and for the price she paid, she aint grumbling! Well the ones I was looking at were looking at were three times the price but I'm well happy with these....The downside???Once I have these on my bike I have no excuse not to go to the supermarket; our lasses plan all along!! :(

Great saddlebags, very roomy and easy to use. The zip on & off system works well. The only thing that you need to be aware of is that the heat resistant base is only heat resistant to factory fitted exhaust pipes and not after market pipes as they will scorch the bottom of the bags and the contents unless a heat guard is fitted to the pipes.

They do the job but could be finished better I had to do some work on them.

Great saddlebags. Fit well on my Dragstar Classic. I had some iron horse saddlebags 2x27L and these ones are similar in size and capacity. I am considering buying again for my wife's Shadow.
