She was just 1 when she started using this suit and I would take her swimming by myself. It really helped us both to feel confident with her being in the water. It is far less restricting than arm bands and it has helped her to learn to swim as she can kick her arms and move her legs freely. My daughter feels as though she can do anything in this swim suit and regularly tries to get out of my hold, however I wouldn’t feel comfortable letting go of her for long, even though she does have the suit on it definitely wouldn’t stop her from drowning. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Brilliant buoyancy aid! *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 4 July 2024* We have many grandchildren, so we have purchased a few of these over the years.
