Band is thick and can cause sweating. I'd pick the Newsywell again. Here's my Newsywell review: " Low rise reduces likelihood of being seen if my shirt rises up. Beige color so that it won't show through gym shorts. Thin material; feels like commando without the chaffing. Wish the pouch was better at keeping my shaft upright so that my bulge would show less. I run in these, hike in these, work at my desk in these. I've bought two pairs and have found I like the tight of medium for running and the loose of large for at my desk. It will leave impressions on your skin, my wife comments on my whale tail marks after I take them off. " I am 170 with a 30 pant waist line. I strengthen train. I am a male married to a female for over a decade. I like to stay dry and cool. Thongs and Jocks are my go to. I have several pairs of each but I always want more of thong waistband and g string back. This thong delivers that!!! The quality is well made however the pouch is a little wider than necessary. I'm larger and the pouch fit just fine. The string in the back is so thin you can't even tell it's there. Very soft and breathable and the colors are like the pictures. These are a low waisted if worn right. Great for exercise work or tight fitting pants when you don't want underwear lines. Def want more.
