Well worth the money
For the price this pedal is great. I gigged with it instead of an amp the day after I got it and it worked well straight into the p.a with my other effects. I have a chorus and a tubescreamer before and reverb and delay after and it really sounds good. Just keep the drive below 12 o clock and crank the voice up.

Absolute bargain
These pedals are an absolute bargain. This series of pedals from Joyo are not overdrive pedals but pre amp pedals offering a representation of several famous guitar amps. They as far as I’m aware analogue modellers, not digital, for me good this is a good thing - digital modellers are getting much better but can still be expensive, I just prefer analogue tones. These pedals are based on a discontinued range of pedals from a reputed manufacturer which were quite a bit more expensive. The flavour of this pedal is obviously Orange and with some tweaking will get you fairly close to that sound. I found it sounded closer when used with a Marshall amp on the edge of break-up. Used solely as an overdrive into any amp it will sound fine. They can also be used directly to a PA or recording set up, they have a cab sim built in for this purpose - you cannot change this. I have never used mine for that purpose. The controls give you a lot of scope to sculpt your tone, they offer a broad range of parameters so a bit of tweaking is required to get your desired tone - this isn’t a simple plug and play pedal - a bit of understanding of how the controls interact will help you to get a great tone.

Oasis in a box
Some very aggressive sounds can be had from this into a clean amp. Even more aggressive into a dirty valve amp. Oasis and John Squire type sounds are easy with this pedal.

I wasn't enthralled by the sound
JOYO Classic British Rock Amp Simulator Guitar Overdrive Distortion Pedal (Oxford Sound). I wasn't enthralled by the sound, and the annoying thing for me, is that the voice knob also drastically affects the gain.

Das Pedal ist schlechter als ich dachte. Insgesamt liegt immer ein sehr rauher, gurgelnder Cleansound unter der recht groben Zerre...da braucht man schon nen sehr gnädigen Röhrenamp zur Weiterverstärkung...oder kauft nen besseren Verzerrer.
