Useful tool- good price.
With the price of ammunition climbing this inexpensive tool is just what you need to laser bore sight. Fits perfect in my new slug gun and reduced the number of shots to sight in a new scope mounted on it.Interested in other caliber now too!

The workmanship and quality met my expectations
I was very happy with the purchase of this item however I had to return it because it came in a 10 gauge shell rather than the 12 gauge shell. The seller worked with me and I am very pleased with the results

Wouldn't fit in chamber of gun until I corrected their machining error.
Fast Delivery. Works better is you use 4 batteries instead of 3 as it doesn't always maintain contact.Large diameter of cap was larger than opening on my shotgun chamber, so I had to twist it to get it inside chamber.Once inside chamber, it didn't seat completely up to shoulder of barrel. Took it out and measured the diameter compared to my neighbor's and the battery cap diameter was .050" larger. This is why it hung up trying to enter chamber. I ran it on my belt sander to get the diameter smaller and it also seated in the chamber. Before sanding, the larger diameter was against the chamber body and did not allow the laser body to square up to the bore.Works fine now. They need to investigate their machining to assure the diameter is correct for this item.

Not accurate at all, laser beam is not even parallel with bore.
I'll probably keep this, since I lost the $5 red laser pointer I use to entertain the cats, but at the ~$12 price this is more than double what you can pick up cat-toy lasers for, and that's about all it's good for. The case seems to fit well in my 870's chamber, but the laser itself is not even concentric enough to make it to the end of my 28" barrel. If you lay the device down on a table edge, so the rim is off the edge and you roll the "bore sight" you can see that the laser is so non-concentric it hits the table top only about 15" out. If you need a cat toy, buy a cheaper laser pointer. If you need a bore sight, buy something other than this junk. I suppose if you just want a laser pointer that looks like a 20ga shell you could buy this, but I'd still call it overpriced for that application.

All way in different spot
Got me on paper at 50 yard no problem but every time you chamber the laser it in a different spot
