Appears to work
Like that appears to work however it is blue when UK herons are grey and also it is so unstable even if you have the opportunity to use its stake to insert into the ground. One should move it every day otherwise herons will cotton on that it’s fake. Also don’t use in mating season which is May time as it might attract another which defeats the objective. On decking or patio one needs to attach the feet to a heavy piece of wood to stop it blowing over with the slightest wind. No instructions which is poor. No loss of fish that we have seen since acquiring, l ok no May if last.

He is awesome
I wanted a lifelike heron to keep the real herons away from my fishpond ..and he is a very real looking heron and looks beautiful in my garden .

Works but wobbly
Seems to have kept the heron away (albeit we have also installed netting) but it is very lightweight and easily falls over. It's a shame they haven't made the base weighted or possible to add your own weight (water or sand). Very top heavy too which doesn't help either.Pipe coming out of his bum....no idea why lol!
