Hello friends, I selected this raw nori powder for cooking. So this is raw nori that has not been roasted. The seaweed commonly used for eating is roasted. Trying it straight out of the bag it was kind of bland. Roasting it in an air fryer really life end up the flavor in it. My roommate took possession of the bag and roasted the whole thing. He uses it in his ramen and uses it to coat spam and rice balls. He says it's really good roasted. He says the quality is good too.

This product is sold as raw, but to dry nori, it is exposed to heat. This does not list at what temperature it is dried at, but it is not totally raw. Drying and toasting are basically the same thing other than there may be temperature differences in obtaining the dried product. I am happy with this as it is out of the package, and also tired additional toasting, which I find even better in flavor. This is quite a bit of product and comes in a resealable bag. I am happy with the this on rice and also adding to my dumpling soup. It gives that extra something that is always missing without. I recommend this Nori Seaweed Powder, as it is nice not to have larger chunks from sheets. Give it a try!

I regularly use nori in my meals. I will often mix it in with my soups, stews, noodles, etc. I understand that nori has certain health benefits but I use it just because I like the flavor. This powdered version provides me with an alternative way to enjoy it with my meal. This comes in a resealable pouch for convenient storage. The powdered version takes less space on the shelf so this will come in handy for me when I travel. When I opened the pouch, I noted that this looks, smells, and tastes like nori. I am using this the same way as I use regular nori. I mix it in with my soups, stews, etc. I found that it adds a nice flavor to my dish. This could also be added to smoothies or any liquid for that matter.
