I personally used them for irrigating my eye after a cataract operation Ideal to keep in your medicine chest for wound cleaning etc. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Soft, non-irritant and a sanity saver! *by M***E on 9 January 2026* I have been using these swabs for years now as I have a draining seton stitch in place (due to perianal abscess complications from pouchitis/Ulcerative Colitis). Frankly, these dressings sit in between my bum cheeks and they never cause me friction, soreness, skin irritation or broken skin. In fact, I know if I forget to put them in as I start getting sore and chaffed after a few hours. These are, quite literally, a sanity saver for me. I would not be able to walk my dog for hours at a time without them; I would be in agony. Being 4 ply, I only need to use 2 at a time and change them 3 times a day, so a pack lasts me well. They do not bobble or fray, even though my knitted silicone stitch is constantly rubbing against the dressings.
