Wagg Complete Chicken with Veg and Tasty Gravy dog food, 12kg

We have spent untold amounts of money and time over the years trying to find the right food for one of our dogs who has suffered a lifetime of tummy sensitivities. We have tried everything: prescription only, bespoke high-end designer food thru to run of the mill supermarket brands. Nothing has done the job until now. We can across Wagg when a family member was feeding a large litter of pups on a tight budget and had been recommended Wagg by a friend in the same boat. We were sceptical but in the midst of yet another doggy tummy meltdown a the time so felt we had little to lose. The food arrived well packed in a tidy resealable 16kg bag. It smelt fresh and clean. Both dogs loved it. We threaded in to their existing food over a period of about a week and then we waited for the unpleasant aftermath which usually accompanies a food change. But nothing: no runny tummy, no middle of the night emergencies, no walking with extra poo bags; just peaceful, predicable normality. We have been astounded by how well our super sensitive tummy boy has done on this food. It has been 3 months now and barely a sign of a digestive upset. It is hard to convey the joy of not having to watch for and cope with the drama of a permanently upset doggy tummy (anyone whose animals suffer similar conditions will know what I mean!). Both dogs are fit and well with fresh smelling coats and clean breath. I know the low price of this food could indicate a lack of quality, but everything we have seen suggests this is a brand that combines quality and value. Our only complaint is that it can be difficult to come by and on long delivery. But planning for this is not such a chore and otherwise we are glad to have found it. Two happy canine customers and even happier doggy parents.

i have fed this to my cavalier for the whole 8 years of his life and never had a problem...nice firm stools and never any upset tums.....so I highly recommend and these big bags last me 6 months....excellent value....I tend to stick with the chicken one as anything with beef in is harder on my dogs tummy........he loves it and had never turned his nose up at it...my Charlie has a lovely glossy coat and touch wood has never had any illnesses.....he is a fit perfect weight as I believe in not overfeeding, I keep him lean, so he is healthy and I give him slighty under the recommended amount each day as he has the odd treat here and there...cant go wrong with this food, as for people who say higher priced food equals quality, not in this case...im not saying it is high quality but its the best mid range dog food for the price out there...so give it a go, your dog wont say no.....and your wallet will love you even more.....

I wanted to find a more cost effective food for my boy Blue that wasn’t full of nasty stuff and I came across this brand, I could see from the ingredients list that it was full of good stuff so thought I would give it a go! After all the price was just fabulous! Blue wolfed it down so he must be very happy with the flavour but it did give him some bursts of gas which wasn’t too pleasant but I imagine this will die down after he is more used to this food. It is extremely helpful and handy that this can be delivered to the house which means no more lugging heavy bags around from the car into the house, having it on prime delivery is even better! Nice one for that service! I think that the bag being recyclable was a great USP as this is important to me. The only thing I would like to see improved is to have the bag with a resealable zip to help keep the food fresh and at its best. Overall I’ll carry on using this for the foreseeable unless the gas doesn’t stop then I might have to change.

The dog said the flavour gave him hints of golden roast chicken with steamed carrot and broccoli. The dog also said it would go lovely with gravey and some roast potatoes and a Yorkshire pudding or two but he understands the chef has other things to do so he won't take advantage of such a busy person. He rated the overall dish 4 out of 4 pad on his paw. Good job the dog also added.. The owner tried to add "the dog needs to eat at his bowl and not leave biscuits all over the floor!" Pet owners are often convinced that the measure of their love is reflected by the amount of money spent. Don't be fooled. Wagg dog food is cheap as chips, but it offers all the nutritional balance your dog needs. Our yellow Labrador has been eating Wagg since he was a pup, and he sports a stunning coat, has plenty of energy, and - touch wood - has been of great health throughout. For variety, we tend to alternate between the different Wagg flavours (e.g. Beef), but he seems totally satisfied with either. You can also buy Wagg gravy that supplements this but to be honest, I feel eating the kibble dry is a little better for his teeth. We do of course supplement his diet with treats, chews, the odd can of dogfood, leftovers etc. But for his core diet, you can't go much wrong with this, at a great price.

I don't think this is my dogs favorite ever food but I mix it in with a bit of wet food and he eats the lot! It's affordable for us to buy and one bag lasts about 5 weeks if I mix it with his wet food and he gets fed morning and evening! I'm really happy I've found this product on amazon! I used to go up my local Scats to pick this up, it was £10.12 at scats for the same 12KG bag, but I had to struggle to carry it home as it is so heavy, or I had to get someone to collect it for me which was just a pain! I will defiantly be ordering this regularly off amazon now if it stays at £10 with free delivery! Really good price and saves my struggling home with it! Very quick postage also, arrived after just 3 days!

Perfect for my working Cocker Spaniel. No matter what food I pick up, whether it be Pedigree Chum, Bakers, Pets at Home brand, Royal Canine, Purina etc there is always someone who says "You shouldn't feed your dog that!". Everybody else is an expert and I have tried my dog with most of the above and his stomach would not settle. The only reason I bought and tried Wagg is because there is a Cocker Spaniel on the packaging and it's the best food I've had the dog on. No issues with his stomach, he enjoys the food (I also mix in a little Chappie on occasion) and since feeding him it he seems to have gotten a shinier coat. Paying just over £8 for 12kg of food is a no brainer when you will pay the same for a 2kg of Royal Canine or Purina.

bei Tierfutter aller Ort habe ich eine ganz einfache regel, wenn es, wie in diesem Fall, den Hunden gefällt und gerne angenommen wird, dann passt es für mich auch. Von den Inhalten her ist es ganz normales Hundefutter, alles nichts wildes, getreidefrei ist es auch nicht, aber das ist mir wurscht, da meine Hunde nicht empfindlich ist. der Preis ist gut und es wird bis zur Haustür geliefert, was will man mehr.
