LifeProof Fre for Samsung Galaxy S8+ - Asphalt Black

The case is easy to fit.It offers good protection for the phone and screen.The screen protector seems to move a bit when pressing the screen but this is not a problem.The case may be waterproof when you test it but I have my doubts in every day use. I work in a timber mill and somehow wood dust still gets inside the case, I don't see how if it supposed to be water proof.After about one week the silicon seal on the charging door fell off and I had to stick it back on.All in all, it is a good case that offers good protection to the phone and screen, it's just a good job that the phone is water proof already.

Been using this case since I first received my SM-G955FD, I am now on my third one, the case has never let me down on protection, only the failure of the volume buttons have been an issue.That's a few years protection, however I have always fitted a skinomi screen protector to the front of the case as I have never been too impressed with the plastic on its own. All in all it has saved my handset on numerous occasions, has paid for itself with no fuss..As I said, only the volume buttons failing has let it down.

Great case, screen cover works well and doesn't alter touch response at all. Haven't dropped it yet but waterproofing is solid and tested. It doesn't mention but there is a groove in the bottom right corner to fit a lanyard which is great. The waterproofing is solid but if I take my phone in the sea, I do want it tied to me. The only let down is the headphone adapter. Because of the waterproofing the headphone socket is covered by a plastic screw and the adapter you have included to screw in and attach your headphones sucks. The headphone jack doesn't clip into place and just sits there so anytime you move it falls out. I bought some no branded replacements but the only ones I can find are for the iPhone models which seem to have a smaller screw. Because the screw is smaller the case won't be fully waterproof but neither are my headphones so thats not an issue and the jack clips in so I don't have to stay very still while using it. Great case but I recommend buying extra wires 3 for 6 on prime. For the price of this though I wasn't happy with that 1 fault that is pretty huge to me.Lost stars, used it for a month and had it in a drawer since my last holiday. Got it back out and the volume keys don't work.

Used lifeproof for my previous phones Galaxy S6 & S3 so was a no brainer to have one for my Galaxy S8+. And by far the best case so far. Very light and premium build quality that you can trust you're £800 device with. 110% recommended!

Disappointed. In general it's not a bad product but it doesn't really hit the mark. I used this product for two weeks whilst on holiday, buying it to further protect my S8+ from the beach elements.The first let down was the screen protection which when wet doesn't allow the phone screen to respond well to touch commands. Also it's slightly separated from the actual screen and sometimes needs a long 'heavy touch before the screen responds.Secondly, you are advised to check and test the case each time you put it on. A reasonable request to be safe the case functions correctly. Unfortunately there and small cushioning tabs inside the case which become unglued after a couple of times of taking the phone out of the case. Inwould have expected them to be bonded better considering the price of the case.Like I say in general it's not bad but at its high price point, I'd expect those details not to be an issue.Whilst on holiday I say may people use air tight sealed phone bags to protect their phones, which at a fifth of the price now seem a much better option.

Well the case rly protect your phone but I have issues after a while with the volume bottoms. I am not able to click it and some times i need to use my nails to get the volume louder or quieter and most of the time doesn't even reach the volume bottoms either with the nail. It's such a shame to see that kind of an issue from a case on this price tag. You protect your phone but you can't shut down the volume, Fail!

Extremely disappointing phone case that does not do what the name suggests. What does 'Lifeproof" mean? Does it mean it will protect my device against everyday hazards? Does it mean it will last the life of the device? Either way, it does neither. No more than 4 months after purchasing the case, the screen cover plastic separated from it's housing. The poorly built headphone adapter stopped functioning after only 2 months. This is not what you expect from an accessory costing in excess of £50. The case was replaced under warranty, but now dust has got into my new case preventing people I talk to on the phone from being able to hear me, so I need to remove my phone from it to clean it.It's supposed to be dust and waterproof, but it is neither. Don't buy it. It's a stylish case, but misleading in its claims.
