GERMANUS Tobacco Pouch from Genuine Leather - Made in EU - Albrunus

On first and early impressions I am very pleased, I have put in a pack of 50g but with these tobacco pouches I always keep in the plastic pouch and trim excess off. Also added papers in holder and my prized Dunhill lighter in the zip compartment with a few tip making cards. Closing is now very tight but can be done, prefer this as the leather will soften and stretch and also when the tobacco becomes less it will become easier. It's so nice having everything together in one lovely quality leather and very well made pouch. One last negative point, the leather has a vile chemical odour probably a result of it's manufacturing process, let's hope this fades away because it's horrid. tjpearson

I (wish I didn't but I do and) have purchased a very large number of tobacco pouches over the years. This beats them all by miles. The leather is Real Leather with all the lovely leathery smell that comes with it. The area for keeping the tobacco is lined as I would expect to stop moisture loss from the tobacco keeping it nice and fresh for when wanted. Believe me there are some very dodgy tobacco pouches about that may claim to be real leather/authentic but are inferior materials that smell disgustingly of dye and/or plastic resin. This Germanus pouch from Tabak Pietsch is the real deal. I currently have 50g rolling tobacco in the lined pocket, current packet of papers in the dispenser, spare pack of papers with my slimline filters inside the internal zipper part (seen when fully open) AND my lighter lives in the zipped up rear pocket - the wonderful quality magnetic poppers work very well keeping it all neat and fresh. The magnetic poppers have never failed me yet. Just have to stop the OH nicking it now as they prefer my lovely tan leather to the black leather pouch they had!!!

Excellent product! I bought this product a couple of years ago but I have had to buy it again, only because it came apart at the seams eventually. The stitching could be made more resilient. Apart from that, it has been great.

This is the 2nd one in 2 years ,but this one is better then the 1st. Insides they change it with soft material which prevent tobacco to get dry.

Ideal item for smoking paraphernalia, look good and leather of quality. Selected partly on looks, lovely tan colour and positive reviews. Pouch will hold a 30g pack, papers & filters sit happily & accessible in zip pockets. As an occasional smoker, reckon it'll last a long time. Good product.

Amazing Quality, it’s worth spending a bit more , I got gliptone liquid leather, for my Slk leather seats, and use it on new pouch, soaks into the leather , feeding it,also I think over a period of time , the lining of the pouch, tobacco does rot lining, so I got a 30g pouch, cut flap off, it fits the lining like a glove , keeping the interior like new.

This is the second pouch I have bought. First class quality product, only issue is that the internal lining breaks up during long term use. Previous pouch lasted 2 years. Highly recommended.

An absolute delight that oozes quality and design. If there's one niggle it's that the magnetic catches can be fiddly - velcro fastenings would be easier but that said I shan't criticise a cat for not being a dog. It's really faultless and compared to others I've had before it's a complete joy. EDIT March 2018. I've changed my mind about the magnetic fastenings. After this time and learning them it's clearly the correct thing. Top marks to Germanus.
