A: Hi Sophie, I must say that they never really helped my husband but definitely deflated our Doberman when he had a swollen tummy from trapped wind. My husband uses 4 medicated charcoal tablets and they work much better. Maybe try them?

Large, chewable, chalky tablets for the relief of bloating due to wind. I only chew one tablet, not the recommended two, and that's strong enough to help ease my IBS symptoms. I don't like the chalky texture in my mouth and chewing the tablets isn't too pleasant but they are mint flavoured which helps a little and they do ease trapped wind.
