This product was exactly what it said it was. I just wish someone had told me that the Samsung edge style phone isn't as straight forward when replacing the glass as other brands or older Samsung. Unless you have the special sub zero freezer i would replace the whole screen much easier no special tools either.

The phone replacement is kinda low quality and it's hard to apply. Dont purchase of you're not confident in your ability. Also, you have to buy your own adhesive to reapply the screen and back panel, so be aware it doesnt come with the adhesive

I’m going to start this off by stating in plain English for everyone reading this... THIS IS NOT YOUR BASIC, RUN-OF-THE-MILL DIY PROJECT. If you have ZERO technical skills in this field, save us all the headache... DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT. Take your phone to your local repair shop & let them do it properly. DO NOT ATTEMPT THIS YOURSELF.Now... With that said... The product is of decent quality, packed nicely & arrives quickly. Part of what has everyone up in arms is:*This is GLASS ONLY. If your digitizer is damaged in any way, you will need to buy a digitizer separately. Better buy would be Glass + Digitizer kit from someone who refurbished them or new from a reseller. Save yourself the headache of the next reason...*This Kit DOES NOT come with LOCA Gel. If you wanted to meld the digitizer to the new glass sold in this kit, you will need to purchase that separately, along with some form of UV lamp to harden the gel properly.Once again - I say this with all due respect: if this isn’t your wheelhouse, save your wasted time & money. Take your phone somewhere & save the Amazon seller the headache of dealing with your complaints that “their kit is no good”. Their kit is great for those who know what they’re doing.

Excellent 1 time use kit! Do not plan on reusing the tools however they really are designed to be used a few times only

I splat it, five if you are not the average Joe and 1 if you are. You will need a heating device to get the phone apart and most will destroy the touch screen trying to do this. Let me also say yes it is a tempered glass so most thing it is plastic. Now if you are the average joe with a screen that still works you can use this to help protect the screen and your fingers. Use just the glass and on the 4 corners put a small amount of E6000 glue and put glass over the cracked screen and press tightly to compress the glue. Put a couple books on screen and let dry. When done you should still be able to use your screen and not have to be running your fingers over the broken areas anymore. This will get you some time to find a professional to replace your glass.

We ordered this thinking it would replace the entire display since the screen on our phone no longer worked due to the phone screen being cracked. All this comes with is the glass. No actual electronics to connect to the phone and have the screen respond. Total waste of time and money.

Le produit conforme au l'affiche du vendeur sauf il est incomplet pour la remplacement de la vitre, car il manquait une colle spéciale (par exemple le b7000) pour sa fixation définitive peut-être un oubli. A cause de cette oubli je n'ai pas pu commencer les travaux sur mon s8.D'ailleurs le vendeur a eu l'intelligence de faire un tuto, qui est bien fait mais inachevé c'est ce qui est dommage pour les novices.
