Yes it is quite expensive once you have purchased the battery charger and battery separately. I bought the heavy duty 4.0amp battery to cut bushes near our beach hut as there is no electricity so no chance of recharging the battery without returning home. Good lightweight tool but the heavy duty battery adds weight. When the handle is extended and used horizontally, it is quite heavy. I have fairly strong arms but at that angle you have to take frequent rests. The telescopic handle only adds about a foot but it is sufficient for most purposes. The head rotates very easily using a quick release button and locks into any position you could want. The cutters work efficiently and cut through thicker stems than I expected, having been used to an old Bosch corded model. It is the only model I could find with a lithium battery, which can be recharged at any state of discharge, without fear of acquiring a "memory" like NiMH models. Overall I am very pleased with it, but have only used it twice for about 45 mins in total. Durability unknown but looks well-made. Will update if any problems. A pity it does not come as a bundled item complete with battery and charger (which seems to have caught some buyers out) but it does make this clear in the description.

Heavier than I thought it would be. Will probably get used to it. Should have a bought a mains one.

Pretty good - does the trick on large shrubs, not as powerful as mains devices but enough to tackle anything I need it to - a tall pyrocanthus amongst others. Works through thicker branches than expected. Seems pretty well built. Other reviews suggest this comes with no battery or charger, so I ordered separately - but it came with a 2A battery and a charger with a two-pin US plug... Ho hum really

Not made clear that this item required both a battery and a charger therefore doubling the cost. If that was not bad enough the charger was "out of stock" and not known when or IF it will ever be in stock. A total waste of time and effort

bought this Greenworks hedge trimmer previously and have used it on a semi commercial basis. Excellent piece of kit. So much lighter and safer than petrol versions. Battery life reasonable. Have found it so useful and it is my go-to trimmer. Great value for money compared to the likes of Stilh.

only used it once i think the switch is on the way out .

A great product that I am looking forward to using. However the hidden costs have thrown me. Firstly no battery, another £30. Then when that arrived no charger, another £60!

Already own the Standard Hedgetrimmer in this range so have a Battery and Charger , which fit this model perfectly, Its ideal for those hedges that are just a few feet out of reach, Very good quality Blades , Yes its a bit heavy and ungainly BUT will put up with that to save climbing Steps Have owned a Qualcast model before and this Greenworks model is MUCH Better Quality. Got mine direct from Amazon and it came quickly from Germany

Sehr gute Greenworks 24V Akku-Teleskop-Heckenschere. Schneidet auch dickere Äste, und durch ihr geringes Gewicht auch gut mit zu Arbeiten. Verstellung ist leicht und schnell erledigt. Preis Leistung Top, so wie Lieferzeit.

Esta podadora eléctrica de alcance regulable ha sido sin duda una buena adquisición, su capacidad de carga, nos permite hacer una buena cantidad de trabajo sin tener que recargar la pila. Para mi gusto le falta un poco más de altura pues en algunos lugares aun teniéndola totalmente extendida, me queda corta. entrega rápida y bien embalada. Muy satisfecho.

Das Gerät habe ich gar nicht erst ausprobiert. Habe selten solch eine schlechte Verarbeitung gesehen und gefühlt. Haptikeinfach nur billigstes Plastik, Schnellverschlüsse waren der absolute Witz, funktionierten nicht. Ich denke, dass dieses Gerät meine 2,50 m hohe Eibenhecke nicht einmal geschafft hätte. Ich kann sie beim besten Willen nicht empfehlen.
