Perfect for Loud HBCU College Marching Band
These earplugs are an excellent choice for a loud HBCU college marching band, where the volume and energy are on a completely different level. They significantly reduce the overall noise without distorting the sound, which is extremely important when you still need to hear music clearly and stay in sync with the band. Even with the band playing at full volume during rehearsals and performances, I was still able to pay attention, understand instructions, and clearly hear cues from directors and section leaders. The sound remains balanced and natural, so nothing feels muffled or unclear. That made a huge difference, especially in a high-intensity environment where awareness is critical. The earplugs are comfortable enough to wear for long periods and stay in place while moving, marching, and performing. They don’t feel bulky or irritating, and the fit is secure, which is important for extended rehearsals and game-day performances. I also appreciate that they protect your hearing without isolating you from what’s happening around you. Overall, these earplugs work exactly as intended and are a great investment for college musicians, especially anyone in a loud HBCU marching band. They offer effective hearing protection while still allowing clarity, focus, and communication. I highly recommend them for band members who want to protect their hearing without sacrificing performance or awareness.

Great for Audience members, passable for engineers.
I was hired to run sound at a local punk rock festival this past weekend, and knew that I was going to need some hearing protection for the 12 hour shift ahead of me. I am happy to say that I did not have any ear fatigue, or ringing at the end of the day. These things did exactly what I needed them to do, which was be able to hear the music, but at a safe a manageable level. I had a decibel meter running throughout the day, and each band averaged out at about 110 dB. That's pretty loud. It did not dampen high frequencies nearly as much as regular foam disposable earplugs, but there were still times I had to remove them for critical listening. I wouldn't say that the music 'sounded the same, just at a lower volume', but they definitely were a lot better than disposable earplugs. I appreciated the two sizes of tips, and the carrying case, although I wish that they had some sort of leash or necklace so that I could easily take them on and off without having to hold them or put them back into the case. Minor inconvenience. Overall, great product, much better than generic earplugs. Great for concert goers, and passable for engineers.

They're so expensive!!! But worth it!!!
To The Point: I've been to many music festivals and have tried many brands of ear protection; these are the best on the market. You will hear the music very well and your ears will feel totally normal afterwards. Buy once, cry once. Substance: I've tried several brands of earplugs and have worn them for hours at a time at music festivals like EDC. Any Form ear plug work to protect your hearing, but it makes everything sound so dull and muted. But if it's all you got then it's better than nothing. I've tried nothing...my hearing was messed up for days...would not recommend. I've tried the Loop ear plugs. Those are not bad and will protect your hearing but you loose a lot of lows and some mids; the high notes come in pretty well but the sound is uneven. It's kinda like listening to a speaker in a hallway. I've tried fake eargasms, they were less than half the prices I figured I would give it a shot. They worked pretty well, protected my hearing, comfortable, sounded good, but flat. Then I figured after hearing praise from other audiophiles at an EDM festival that I would try out eargasms'. This was it! Sounds comes in very very well, it literally just sounds like a lower volume at first. When the night is over and you take them off, you hear everything full volume again with no ear pain or ringing. There was a one night break in period where they felt a little uncomfortable but now I put them in and forget that they are even there. There are several people out there who have tested countless brands of ear protection with measurable results. I recommend you look them up and don't just take my word for it. Pro Tips: I know a lot of people like to wait until they are at the front or middle of a stage to put on ear protection, but for these I recommend that you put them in right away. What I do is the moment I get past security I get them out and put them in my ears. Use the opposite hand to pull the top of my ears as I insert the eargasm. AT FIRST you will feel like your hearing is really muted, but stick with it. In no time you will adjust and everything will feel normal. Once you get to the stage the music will be loud and CLEAR but your hearing will be protected!!

Good functionally, a bit pricey
I get vertigo and tinnitus that’s definitely worse after exposure to loud sounds— so I decided to give these a try for a concert. I’m really happy with the performance of them, but there are a few little design quirks I would change. They do come with two ear plug sets (one regular and one smaller) and one set of filters. -The regular plug worked best for me, the small was too small and didn’t provide adequate sound insulation (and I have VERY small ear holes, typically use the smallest option on other sets) -They go into the ear quite deep but pull out easily when you tug the tab -Initially feel uncomfortable, but after about a minute I didn’t notice it -if you have any ear wax, these will pull it out. Good idea to sanitize in warm water after each use (make sure you remove the filter first) - that case is a cute idea but not very practical, they barely fit in the case and tend to either pop out or get stuck when you open it -the case screw top is a bit difficult to use, especially if you have bigger/ shaker hands That being said, for what’s on the market I like these a lot. The sound insulation felt decent and I FOR ONCE didn’t get a migraine after a concert. I could still hear the sounds and communicate with people as well. Overall these are a solid option but definitely on the higher end of the price scale and performance-wise not much different from the Alpine plugs (which are about half the price).

Love! Will be using often
I've used these at 2 concerts and a DJ set. I have loved them so far! They're easy to carry on my keychain with my car keys so I always have them on hand. I was between these and the Loops but the reviews of sound quality won me over. They were great, I could hear the music clearly but I took them out to really see the difference and they were definitely doing their job. Everything was still very clear but just more muted. I was able to still hear my friends talking. I haven't tried other concert earplugs before but these work great so I don't think I'll be trying a different pair anytime soon. I was a little worried of how they would fit since there are only two sizes but luckily they fit snuggly and I didn't worry about them falling out. I also like that they're clear so they're not very obvious, also makes them easy to clean. The screw-on holder is also perfect since I don't have to worry about it accidentally opening and losing them. Would recommend for frequent concert goers.

BUY THESE. DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT IT, JUST DO IT!
I don't know where to start with explaining how satisfied I am with this product, so I'll just say THEY'RE FREAKING AWESOME! First of all, I'm 20 years old and have had hearing damage since I was young, so I've really learned to appreciate the privilege of hearing. I have gone to concerts since I was little and only recently started wearing hearing protection, which were just those ugly, bulky orange foam ones from a drug store. I hated that not only did the music at concerts just sound muffled and distorted, but I found myself unable to hear friends talking to me even while standing right next to me. I had a concert that I was planning on going to in the near future, and remembered watching shark tank and seeing "Vibes" earplugs and decided to go on amazon and check out the reviews. I saw that they had some 230 reviews, averaging 4 stars, but some people said that they seemed to dampen and muffle the sound, resulting in slightly poorer sound quality. I then saw Eargasms in a related search, which had 1,233 reviews, averaging 4.5 starts. The reviews talked about how they seemed to just lower the volume of the music at concerts, without sacrificing sound quality, which is exactly what I wanted. The only draw back I saw was that some people said they were slightly less comfortable than Vibes, but I decided that I preferred sound quality, so I rolled the dice and ordered them. I was surprised to receive a personal email from Ryan from Eargasm at 5:24 AM (I ordered the product at I want to say 11:30 PM the previous night) letting me know that my Earplugs had shipped. Talk about customer service! the earplugs arrived that same day (shoutout to the Amazon Prime free one day shipping options for these bad boys), and decided to give them a mock trial by turning my speakers up as loud as they could go with the Eargasms in. As advertised, the music did not sound muffled in the slightest bit, but rather sounded as if the volume had just been turned down. As far as comfort goes, I found them to be even more comfortable than my Skullcandy in-ear headphones that I use, so I was very satisfied. As the concert rolled around (the night before I wrote this review), I came locked and loaded with my Eargasms in their convenient little carrying container thing (which I just clipped onto my car key ring so that I wouldn't lose it). Right after I went through the security line I tossed the earplugs in and rolled inside, and instantly knew that I had made a solid purchase. As far as the comfort goes, after about 20 minutes of being inside of the concert I completely forgot I even had them in. The concert lasted about 4 hours, and the comfort/sound quality prevailed with flying colors. Overall Eargasms went above and beyond my expectations. Anyone who has hearing issues can appreciate how annoying it is to be at a live event or whatever and have to constantly be yelling "WHAT?!" "HUH?!" because you can't hear your friend who's right next to you trying to tell you something, and Eargasms alleviated that problem entirely. I am already looking forward to incorporating these into other uses, such as motorcycle riding when I get a bike, as well as at the gun range to be worn in addition to my electronic ear muffs, which only provide 22 dB hearing protection and recommend wearing additional ear plugs underneath if you have hearing loss, which defeats the whole purpose of the microphones on them so that you can have conversations. The $5 ish difference between these and vibes to me were totally worth it (though I haven't tried Vibes so I can't speak to the quality of their product personally). Thanks again Eargasms, I'll be recommending your product to anyone and everyone who I think might have even the most random use for them.

Good, But Not So Good for Long Rides
These work great. Block out the majority of wind noise and can actually hear my motorcycle & Sena better. The problem is the filter or atenuator or whatever it's called. It's hard plastic, and the soft silicone does not pad it fully, causing pain in the ears after about 1 - 1.5 hours of ride time. I have to switch back to my other ear plugs to get pain relief. When they are first set in, it's no problem and I can barely tell they are there. It's really nice that it comes with 2 sizes of ear plugs, the problem is that it's like a large and a small. Something in between is probably a better fit for me, but I can't find anything except replacement filters.

Worked great!
These were fabulous when i recently attended a rock concert. They were comfortable to wear. Easy to insert. I liked the small carrying case that easily fit in my pocket. I could hear everything without it being too loud. Even people talking to me before the show started I could hear. After the concert I had no ear ringing, headache or temporary hearing loss. I very much love these and plan to use them at every concert I attend from now on. Definitely worth the money.

Great for DJing – lowers the volume without muffling the music
I bought these after I started DJing as I was becoming more conscious of protecting my hearing, especially as I prefer louder, bass-heavy music like techno. However, are on the expensive side but may be worth it. They’ve been great so far. You get two sizes included, which is a nice bonus, and swapping between them is really simple. They’re also easy to keep clean as you can remove the filter from the outer earpiece, making it much easier to clean away any earwax without affecting the filter. They do feel interesting at first if you’re not used to this type of earplug. It’s difficult to describe, but everyday sounds such as clapping have a noticeably different acoustic quality when you’re wearing them. Rather than simply muffling everything, they seem to reduce the overall intensity while still allowing you to hear the detail in the sound. Bass in particular still comes through really well, which is obviously important for DJing and electronic music. One of the biggest positives for me is that I don’t need to constantly take them out to speak to people. Conversation remains surprisingly clear while wearing them. Great versatility and quality. The simplest comparison I can give is that it’s almost like having noise-cancelling headphones on, except you can still clearly hear the music and people around you, just at a more comfortable level. Overall, I’m really impressed with them so far and they’ve given me much more confidence about protecting my ears when DJing or around loud music.

Fazit: Nie wieder ohne
