touch screen rarely works - I've had this a week
I bought this a week ago. started off great, increased my milk supply and the parts are much easier to clean than the Medela Maxi Swing that I had to return because of issues with the pump after less than three months. I was very happy with this pump. it's quiet and I was pumping quite a bit. it's easy to use and I can pump discretely - the other pump I had made me feel like I was attaching cyborg parts to my breasts lol however the touch screen has become less and less responsive with each use. I cannot press the let down button half the time and need to turn the pump off an wait five minutes for it work again. this wouldn't be so bad if I was ready to take a break and do a power pump but quite often I am wanting to do a let down and the long pause is interfering with my supply. I also cannot change the pump power when it does this. the first few days, I was getting 800ml plus but the last two days i'm sitting at 650ml. that's over a bottle for my baby that I'm losing out on because I can't effectively pump due to further issues from Medela. it's upsetting because I heard good reviews about this brand, but here I am on my second pump from them since having my baby in July and I'm considering returning it and getting a pump from another brand. don't bother with this pump or the Maxi Swing EDIT: I've now had this pump 18 days. I've found as long as I press the let down button before 15 mins, most of the time (there's only been one instance out of five sessions a day over a week where this hasn't worked) the touch screen issues are resolved. However 13 mins into a session today, the FULLY CHARGED pump turned off like the battery was dead. The power button wouldn't turn it back on, plugging a charger in would turn it on but when starting the pump it'd turn off. it took a few mins on charge for the battery to realise it wasn't actually dead. but it did this again a few more mins into the session. I'm currently on attempt number three and hoping it was a one off but looking at other brands while I pump just in case. EDIT 2: The pump never turned back on. thankfully I bought my THIRD pump (not Medela) and it arrived within 24 hours. however I am now facing low supply because I couldn't pump during that time (hand expressing only gave me so much). I'm having to spend a lot of time researching how to improve my supply when there were no problems and I was getting a litre a day before all my issues with Medela, I'm currently sitting at 500ml a day since Sunday (it's Thursday), when my baby drinks 900ml. Pumping should be easy but Medela have made me consider giving up and just formula feeding my baby.

Worked absolutely fine for me! Does what I needed it too
After reading the reviews I was so nervous getting this pump. It was between the Medela or the cheaper pumps that had some great reviews. I'm one of those people that relies on reviews but rarely leaves them. I had to with this and hopefully it helps I've used it once and it worked absolutely fine. I remained seated for most of it but also walked around. It fitted in a normal nursing bra, it's not a fancy one. Simple to set up and put together for pumping. I managed to pump more out of one breast than the other. This had nothing to do with the pump though It came with 2 sizes, the 21mm was fine for me. It's not very loud but I don't plan to leave the house with it. It was more just having my hands and being able to move around if I want to The app is okay. I think it could be improved but do I need an app to pump milk....no. it does record how long, and you can tell it how much etc which is handy. It just kept disconnecting but got the info in there when I finished It has many settings on levels and strengths which was easy to do and change I've had no problem at all and was so relieved when it worked for me straight away. I've had a medela pump before and this was no different to my experiences. I was so close to buying the ones for £ 70-80 but I have had some soreness and thought best to invest in brands I recognise. Some of the other makes that seemed to be overseas (begins with a J) read the small print and reviews. It mentions having parts replaced every 3 months. This isn't needed on the medela When I was finished. You lean forward so any milk not yet gone into the container does, come away and it can easily be poured out. This is all in the instructions Would have been helpful to come with a few bags or even a container considering the price A long review but overall I am happy with it and works for me. Hope it does for others as it isn't cheap but worth it!

Average performance not hands free
Although this pump has an average performance there are a few things that should be pointed out. 1. Although "hands free" advertised the remote for the pumps is rather large and highly sensitive. If you place in a pocket it will stop and start as you walk. It comes with a string handle but carrying that as well as your child or moving around to do things again it will go on and off from the slightest touch of anything...maybe it needs a lock mode? All in all it's every uncomfortable to hold my 2 month old and pump. 2. The easy pouring is great however the holes do not come with a cover when pumping. I often forget and milk pours out everywhere. I suggest a cover for the holes would be great. 3. It's two months in and the parts need to be renewed due to leakage. All in all if you really want a hands free pump this is not the product for you. For the price of what it is I truly thought the little elements above would have been within the product. Edit: unfortunately pump stopped working three months in as it sucked milk into the tube.

Avoid - it was great until it broke 2 weeks later and customer service don't care
Simply put I would avoid this product. The pump motor has broken after 2 weeks, leaving me with no way to feed my baby and having to re-establish milk supply as I had to wait for a new pump to be delivered. You can imagine how painful it was to not be able to express milk for a few days. I was initially very happy with the pump until the motor suddenly stopped turning on 2 weeks after I started to use it. The motor switches on and then cuts out when you press the start button. Looking online at other reviews, this has happened to other people and appears to be a fault with the product. When you're paying nearly £300, you expect it to work for longer than a few weeks. What I found worse is the customer service response from the actual company. I managed to get Amazon to give me a refund, however there's no way to talk to the company itself to report the issue. I emailed their customer service separately via their website and I was told I needed to speak to the retailer to get a refund. For a product costing nearly £300 I would expect them to want to know what's gone wrong with their product. I've since tried a competitior's device for a similar price and a cheaper hands free device from a UK based small business. Both are as good as this pump was and less money.

Perfect hands free pump
I’m a first time mum who had a c-section my milk didn’t come in for a few days the hospital let me borrow their Arlo one (medical grade) to help my milk supply but I wasn’t keen on a pump you had to hold the bits. After reading reviews I saw this one was medical grade and handsfree, although it cost most thanks my original budget it was worth it. I’m very happy with my choice. Easy to clean, pump, great suction and you can move about. Easy to set up, washed down after use then I put it in a Milton sterilising bucket until the next use. If you need a pump as good as the hospital one and want to be able to move about and multi task this is the pump for you. I also found it can be sterilised with microwave bags (which I’m gonna purchase next) as it will be handy for on the go pumping/ expressing.

ID BE LOST WITHOUT IT yet not perfect (IMO)
love this pump, I know it’s expensive but well worth the money for the quality and convenience of pumping. I refer to it as the Ferrari of feeding which I truly believe. Some of the great points are- -easy to clean (only to sterilise once daily) -easy to store (popped in a zip locker bag. YET a branded storage bag would be ideal) -not painful at all -easy instructions -easy to assemble -great that you can wear it on the go (pumped whilst in the car NOT DRIVING!) -comes with a charger and cable (longer cable would be great but still does the job) Yet I imagine Ferrari even has things to change… - when I don’t have pockets, I have to attach the machine to my waistband with a clip. I also do this when in my pocket in case it falls -the buttons are really sensitive. When pumping a few times I activate different buttons with my leg. A lock function or click buttons I think would be better. In the grand scheme of things if you use this product with 2 babies- it’s half price! This will be stored for me and used again for sure.

From excitement to disappointment.
Worked for 38 days without a problem, then it shuts off after working 2 mins could 7 min or sometimes even 15 and then i have to restart the whole pumping process again which is time consuming as all mothers will know. Battery is fully charged, and still the same thing happens. Yes,it works when plugged in constantly while you are sitting next to the wall with it plugged in but that's defeats the purpose of a free style pump especially for the price. Amazon was no help after 30 days . To get this fixed, I have to send it off, but what I will do while waiting??? Could be one week could be four. I want to exchange the defected item.... Or do I need to spend more money while I wait for you to fix your faulty goods because I need to use the pump daily. No real solution I regret buying this now I have to worry if one day I go to use it and it just won't turn on can someone please help.

Expensive but worth it for frequent pumping
Very happy with this pump so far. It has been a lifesaver for a tricky start to feeding - building supply via triple feeding. Pros: Battery life is decent and it recharges pretty quickly using a usb 2 cable that I have around the house anyway. It's pretty portable - the motor part is fairly small and not too heavy. You can put it in a large pocket or use the neck strap. The collection shells are easy to take apart, clean and sterilise. It's possible to use this and also hold your baby (although you have to have them on your lap or at hip level so you don't bash the cups). I have found it relatively comfortable to use with the addition of flange inserts that are sized to my nipples - would strongly suggest this. You can buy a measuring tool and inserts on Amazon for not much money. - You can easily adjust the level to make sure you're comfortable but also maximise output. - In terms of output I get a similar amount with this as I do with the plug in, hospital grade Symphony that I hired direct from Medela (I was advised to do this by a lactation consultant as I wanted to build up my milk supply following a very tricky start to feeding). I much prefer this on the whole to the old fashioned, plug in version, as I can be sitting anywhere or getting on with a few light tasks around the house when using it. Cons: - It can sometimes be tricky to get the collection cups in the right place. A couple of times I've come to the end of my 20 mins and just realised I haven't got anything on one side, which is demoralising! - If your bra is too tight it can be uncomfortable. If your bra is too loose the shells can move and leak! - I sometimes find it uncomfortable to take the cups out as it's easy to catch a sore nipple with the underside of the shell, where it has the ridge for it to stand upright. Be careful! - Usually a bit of milk remains stuck in the "hole" of the flange rather than going into the body of the cup. There's a knack to taking them off and pouring them to avoid spilling this bit. It was a little depressing to lose even a small amount in the early days, as every drop was precious when I was first starting to build my supply. - the buttons on the motor part are touch sensitive (apart from on/off). This means they're easy to knock or press accidentally which I don't like. I'd rather have a physical button. - It makes a little chiming noise when switching on, off, or plugging into charge. I think this is ok but now have to be careful using at night now my baby is older as the noise can wake her. It would be good to be able to switch this off. - I thought I would check how much replacement shells are as thought it would be useful to have a spare set so I don't have to wash as frequently. They're about £75 on the Medela website which seems very expensive for two pieces of hard plastic and one piece of silicone. - I used the app for the first week or so but on the whole I found it crashed and lagged too much. You also can't log pumping with another pump which didn't work for me. Went back to using huckleberry. On the whole - expensive but you get what you pay for. Recommended for someone who will be doing a lot of pumping rather than occasional use.

Keine Langlebigkeit
Nach 5 Monaten ist die Verbindung zwischen Pumpe und Schlauch durchgebrochen. Sowas darf bei solch einem hochpreisigen Produkt einfach nicht passieren.

Big NO for this Failed product
This pump is fail product. Again stopped working in the middle of expression after 20 days of use. Not expected from such a renowned Swiss brand. Big NO for those who are thinking to buy it.
