QY6-0082 Printhead, Replacement for Canon iP7210, iP7220, iP7240, iP7250, iP7280, MG5410, MG5420, MG5450, MG5470, MG5520, MG5620, etc

I was hesitant to buy this printhead thinking it might be a refurbished item that would not act like new, but I was pleasantly surprised to find it works perfectly out of the box. Glad I got it and I should have bought this sooner.

Printer head arrived wet with drops of green and black ink. One of the drum heads was clearly damaged, and upon closer inspection I noticed another has a small cut in it. I did not even attempt to put it in my printer. The box appeared to be undamaged, so I don't know how this could have been done in transit. I don't see how this could have passed even the most basic quality control either, but there it is. I'm returning it and ordering from another source.

At first, I was skeptical because when I opened up the sealed package, it was wet inside with water droplets mixed in with black ink as if it had been used or refurbished but to my surprise it cleared my B200 error code from my home screen and now I can print in black-and-white and color with both documents and photos. So regardless of whether it was used, refurbished or not it saved me from having to buy a new printer after I had tried everything to clear the B200 error code with my old printer head, so I’m very happy!

Was a bit reluctant to purchase one of these units based on reviews I saw on Amazon. However, it was cheaper to go with a new printhead versus buying a new printer. Worst case scenario, I could send the item back to Amazon (as per other Amazon reviews). A win-win situation all around. Printhead came packed in a vacuum packed bag. Yes, there was some drops of moisture in there, but it is needed to keep the print heads lubricated. After viewing Youtube videos on removing and installing the printhead, I sent a test print using multiple colors and I was back in business!

My Canon MG6820 printer suddenly stopped working and displayed a b203 service code. After looking at some videos on YouTube, I decided that the most likely problem was the print head. Tried cleaning the old one with no success so I bought a new one. This new print head was delivered in a couple of days and was an exact replacement for the old one. It fit right in the holder, accepted my old print cartridges, and my printer started working immediately. I have seen other comments about replacement print heads only working for a little while, so I’ll have to wait to see if I have issues down the road. This wasn’t the least expensive replacement listed on Amazon, but I decided to try it because previous reviews were mostly positive. Hopefully the higher cost will turn out to be justified by a longer life. I didn’t give it 5 stars only because I don’t know how well it will perform in the future. Right now I am very satisfied.

I get the same B200 code.UPDATE: I received a refund based on this review alone. I was surprised because the part was not returnable since it was “used” by me. This company cares about its customers and has great customer service. I would not hesitate to order from this company if I need parts. I ended up replacing the printer.

your selling product that is not compatible, I have a pixma mg5420 and have installed the new printhead and I received a message that the printhead in not compatible, when I reinstall the old one I have no problem...have done it numerous times and receive the same message also I noticed damage to the contacts when I opoened the package. will not order from you again

So far it worked. I hope it last for a long time....
