Excellent sealer and still doing its job after 10 months
I bought this 10 months ago to reseal our bathroom - it was only ยฃ2.60 at the time. Having used a different product previously, from a big brand name competitor, for 4 times the price, I was dismayed to find the Ivory shade dried very dark and the sealer had dried/cured hard resulting in the sealer coming away and leaking after only a few weeks. So, after reading other good reviews on Everbuild 500IV, I decided to give it ago, and I was impressed. It was relatively easy to apply and of a good consistency (not lumpy or too runny). Even better, the Ivory colour is perfect (a lighter shade) and it drys/cures leaving a fair amount of flexibility. Even 10 months after applying, it has not leaked, the colour is still great, it is still nice and flexible and remains adhered well to both surfaces. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending or purchasing this product again, even though the price has gone up - I will be steering clear of the more expensive bigger brands in the future.

If Ronseal made silicone instead of paint (Does exactly what it says on the tin/tube)
I've used this silicone brand a couple of times now to seal up the bathroom, and I've been pretty happy with it. It's not the cheapest silicone out there, but it's definitely worth the extra few quid. The anti-fungal stuff seems to work, as I haven't had any mould issues since using it. It's a bit messy to apply, but it dries quickly and makes a really good seal. I'd recommend it.

I followed instructions with a professional silicone gun but
Although I centred the gun arm to the bottom of the container, the bottom of the container burst thru, causing a right mess. Been days scraping it off the bath and tiles. Ordered sealant tape now, will never use this sealant again. I did follow the appropriate instructions too

Just the ticket!
Just to be clear - I'm not being sponsored by anyone and this is NOT a fake review - as there seems to be loads of those around. Anyway, I'm no expert with sealant, I bought this for one job, ended up being a really neat finish and the ivory colour is just the ticket for our very light beige tiles etc that we have in the bathroom. I was so chuffed with the first job I did, I've ended up sealing loads of other bits that were starting to look a bit 'old'. Ended up sealing the plastic bath to the walls, sinks in bathrooms, bits on floors etc, as long as I keep my finger wet & clean while smoothing off and put a constant bead on, it all ended up looking lovely. So, yes, recommend this & good price to boot!
