OK as beginner set...
First, the name. This is definitely NOT a professional make-up set. It is a make-up set aimed at a youngster trying make-up for the first time. In this guise it does a good job. The box is well made and extremely pretty, and there is a great selection of items to try. Before you give it to any youngster, however, I suggest you unwrap the items carefully and decide if they are appropriate before gifting the package. I took out the shaver item as this contains a blade and can hardly be described as make-up. I also removed the false eye-lashes as no fixer glue was included. I'm a bit dubious too about the mascara as many of these irritate the eyes. Glittery items too may well be problematic in this respect and should be used under supervision.
