I bought this wooden ship for my boyfriend who is a One Piece fan and him and I built it together, it was fun to do and the ship looks very cute. Some pieces were a little loose so we had to use crazy glue for the piece to stay in place. Not a big deal though. The introductions were easy to follow and overall, very fun to build it.

Teen enjoyed building this. Parts come laser cut on larger wood sheets. The little uncut pieces (which attach the parts to the larger sheets) sometimes made the pieces not fit well together, but a little trim with a craft knife, or quick rub with sandpaper removed the excess and fixed the fit. This is expected with laser cut projects, and not a flaw, just something to be aware of when purchasing and assembling, you will benefit from having a dollar store craft knife and glue. I advise using the knife to push out or cut out delicate pieces to avoid breakage. One of the sails did break during removal (as well as one other piece), but both were repaired with glue and held after drying. I had the same issue on a different brand kit, so it is not an issue with this product, just the delicate nature of the bendy pieces. The final product is smaller than I expected, but I’m sure the dimensions are listed in the details. The only area of improvement would be the numbering system. The pieces are laid out to optimize space, but are numbered according to assembly steps rather than location on the wood sheets, so it may take a little hunting to find the correct piece. Not a big deal at all, just something that seemed better on my own project.
