what battery does the torch take ?

A single AA battery is needed. (battery not included)

I opened the blade and cannot close it once it’s locked. Any recommendations on how to close it? It seems locked open with no release.

Along the spine or side of the handle of the knife is a chrome bar that extents approximately 90% of the length of the handle. Press that bar toward the black handle of the knife and you can move the blade to its closed position.
