High Quality Replacement Seal โ Easy Install and Excellent Performance
My old garage door bottom seal had been in place for about 20 years, and it finally stopped providing a proper seal. Some sections were worn out, letting in dust, drafts, and bugs. This Holikme EPDM rubber weather stripping kit turned out to be an excellent replacement. The installation was straightforward:โข Disconnect the garage door and set it halfway.โข Remove the two end screws holding the old seal.โข Pull the old rubber out โ mine slid out easily once the screws were removed.โข Clean the channel grooves with a brush and compressed air.โข Spray soapy water along the grooves to help the new seal slide in smoothly.โข Insert the new seal while keeping the grooves lubricated.โข Trim the excess (I ordered the 17 ft version and cut off about a foot). The whole process took less than 30 minutes. The EPDM rubber is high quality โ not too stiff, not too soft. It has just the right flexibility to create a tight seal when the door closes. After installation, I adjusted the closing travel on my opener to make sure the door sat perfectly against the new seal.Overall, this is a great upgrade. The material, fit, and ease of installation make it a highly recommended replacement for any worn out garage door bottom seal.

Good product - Installation tips
I bought the 22ft roll for my 20 ft garage door. Many reviews say it's short by a few inches so I wanted to be sure I had enough. As it turned out the product measured almost 22ft +1 inch on an 85 degree day in Houston. The product was soft and pliable and well packaged in a roll..Installation tips/requirements which helped me, your results may vary.It does take two people to install this seal in the track, one to pull and the other to bend the seal into the U shape and carefully guide the T-edge into the track. If not properly held and guided into the channels the T edge will come out. BOTH sides of each T must be in the channel to secure it properly in place. If one edge pops out you need to back up the seal until it is seated in the track before continuing with the installation. Failure to do this will cause the seal to fall out of the track later on.Be fore you start, make sure the track guide channels are clean of all sand and dirt as well as the rubber edges on the door seal. I had mud in mine which needed to be brushed out and wiped clean with a wet rag. Also make sure all screws that attach the track to the door are tight and fully seated to prevent the seal from catching them during the installation.I found dish soap/water did help in the beginning but dried quickly and stopped the seal from sliding in the tracks unless I kept the entire length wet. This goes for both the channels and rubber seal.I switched to a Klein Tools Clear Wire Lubricant used to help pull wires through conduit. This is a safe clear lubricating jelly and I found the rubber seal to slide much easier along all 20 feet. Also to assist with pulling the seal, I used vice grips to grab the seal and give something better to hold on to. I didn't see any ripping or tearing while using the pliers. In my case I had an extra two feet of seal if there was any damage. After the seal was installed I grabbed and slid the seal very slightly back and forth in the track to be sure there was no tight tension in one spot or looseness in others and did this along the length of the seal. The new seal is good and tight, no light showing through under the door.Pictures included.

Quality seal for uneven gaps
If you need a heavy duty seal for uneven concrete, this is the product to buy. Fit into extruded channel that was already on my garage door. Installation is easier with two people.

Company provides exactly as advertised
I purchased this for an 18' garage door so I bought the 22' package. I first went to my local garage door people here in town, they wanted 58 dollars for exactly 18' of material. Not only was their price exorbitant, but the rubber was very thin & felt like it would last a year if I was lucky. So I went on Amazon and found this product. As soon as I opened the package I could immediately see & feel this was a MUCH better product. The quality of this rubber is thick, but yet soft and adaptive to imperfections of your garage floor. My wife and I installed it in about 45 minutes with no surprises throughout the install. The "T" part of the rubber fit perfectly into our rail on the bottom of our door. The only thing we did was after removing the old piece of rubber from our rail was take a brush from my dustpan and brush off the rail on the bottom of our door of dirt and debris. The measurements listed on their picture are very accurate as well. I am VERY happy with this purchase and would highly recommend this product for any homeowner that doesn't want to keep replacing it every 3 years or so. It is a quality product & delivers exactly as advertised.

Does the trick and seals well!
My husband recently installed this garage door bottom seal and I've immediately noticed the difference when it rains. Our old garage door bottom seal used to be incomplete on the right and left sides creating a gap for water and critters to get in. It took my husband about 30 mins to completely install the whole entire thing however in the beginning it was a bit of work to really "slide" the rubber in between the metal slots attached on the bottom of the garage door.

Excellent replacement for 10 year old insulated garage door bottom seal
Good fit for slightly less than 1.5 inch thick door that had 3.5 wide bottom seal. Used soapy water spray and a second set of hands. You might have a screw on each side of your door to keep the bottom seal in place, you will need to remove these in order to get the old bottom seal out. Save these for reuse with the new seal so that it does not move. Trimmed with long razor blade while partner held excess with tension. Last we needed to reset the travel distance for the door with the Chamberlain door opener. This was a fairly straightforward process, but be sure that you also test that the door opens if a 2x4 is in its way as the last step for safety. We will purchase again for the side garage door at a future time. Install time with removal, cleaning of track, spraying soapy solution and feeding, cutting and setting Chamberlain was just over an hour, but we were being careful. Product is a compatible replacement and more durable than what was original to the insulated door. Very happy as we can already tell is will seal much better than what it replaced to keep the water out.

Does the job. Lightly constructed.
Itโll do the job. Correct material but Light construction. Likely wonโt last 20 years like the last one.

Good quality
The garage door bottom seal strip was just what we needed to give a better seal to our garage door and keep the water out. The quality seems to be quite good. (If it doesn't hold up over time, I will update this review.) Installation was a breeze, once we used the WD-40 trick to spray the track before inserting the bottom seal strip.

Great quality
We replaced our old seal with this one it was perfect.

Great door seal!
Fits like a glove! Seals very tight to block the water from coming in under the door. Install did take two people to feed it into the track but I used silicon spray which worked perfect. Awesome! I recommend this product hands down.
User
As advertised.
Package arrived quick, it took two of us to put it on, some silicone spray helped. I had to push the end plugs in past the frame of the door to keep the ends from popping out of the track. I have only had it in for a few days but there has been lots of rain and the seal is keeping the water out.

Great upgrade
Great product! Took a bit to install but not more than 30 mins. The plugs at the end are not really to stop bugs or insects as I've still seen bugs inside the seal but that's not a concern at all. You can stop them really but won't see them come in to the garage. The plugs do serve a purpose for me. I can leave a car charging cable under the garage door without damage as the plugs bare most of the pressure/ weight from the garage door and the middle part (soft rubber) just presses on the ground to create a seal. Doesn't cut on the wires. Love it.
User
Good quality, holds shape nice!
Very pleased with new seal. I knew it was a 1mm larger and was a little challenge sliding the 12' but dish liquid and 2nd hand got it lol. Quality is good and centre rubber makes seal sit nice on floor
