This Nerf DogTennis Blaster is a BLAST! It's fun to for the dog and the owner. You can pick up the ball and load it without touching it and getting your hand wet from all the slobber. It launches it a good distance, enough for the dog to sprint after it. One small issue is that the trigger is hard to pull. Other than that this is a great dog / owner toy. NERF makes great dogs toys, this is the 3rd one I have gotten and they all are quality and durable.

My 2 year old Australian Labradoodle mini adores this toy! We must play with it, weather permitting, at least once a day. I launch the ball 25 times and he fetches and brings it to me immediately. Often he catches the ball in the air. I shoot at an upward angle so the ball doesn't go over our fence. We've used it with no problems for 2 1/2 months. It's a sturdy plastic but I'm sure it will need to be replaced eventually. We will! Both of us love to play with the Nerf Dog Tennis Ball Blaster. I cannot throw very many balls without this device, because of shoulder pain. Eventually I change to a clean tennis ball, but I don't event have to touch the dirty balls as the Ball Blaster picks up the balls for me. What a clever toy! I don't recommend using inside because the blast is pretty significant. It's meant for outside play. I highly recommend it!

I used to have to wait while my human recovered from a few weak throws, but now it’s non-stop action. I’m sprinting across the yard, tongue flapping in the breeze, living my best doggy life. And when I bring the ball back, my human can just reload and send it flying again. I could do this all day (and trust me, I try). The blaster itself is pretty sturdy, the balls on the other hand split in two after a few bites. If this toy didn't make me as happy as it does my human wouldn't buy the replacement balls. Also, the noise it makes when firing? It’s like the best squeak toy in the world, but for humans. I get excited just hearing it. So, to all my fellow furry fetch enthusiasts, tell your human to get their paws on the Nerf Dog Tennis Ball Blaster. It’s the most fun you can have with your human without involving the furniture or the cat. Five woofs out of five! Now, if you’ll excuse me, I’ve got some more fetching to do.

Ours came broken - Lil ball holder piece. Seller would not send replacement. These gadgets need to be improved, as they don’t even last 6-12 months anyway.

This toy is the best I exsercise my dog every day he. Catches the ball across my yard for 15 to 20 minutes every day around 5:30 he’ll be waiting at the sliding door ready to go it’s the best exercise ever for my dog I just don’t need to take him for a walk !! It launches about as far as you would expect, going a little shorter than a typical human throw. My dog loves this thing! She got conditioned to hear the cock of the gun and that makes her go crazy :). It's great for any size yard, because there's not too much to worry about it going to far (you can point it up higher in the air though just in case). The ball it comes with is standard, but it can be used with any tennis ball if your dog is prone to losing them like mine is. The gun is about the same build quality as any other Nerf Gun, I don't expect it to break or fail any time soon. This will work for any dog who can hold a standard size tennis ball in their mouth.

My dog loves this Nerf gun, keeps her amused for hours, unfortunately, used multiple times a day, the product only lasts approximately 6 months each time. I have gone through 3 of these in 18 months. I wrote to Nerf and they sent me a replacement, but this has now broken. The band inside is not strong enough to last. Quite expensive for what it is when only lasts for 6 months.
