A Truly Impressive Backpack.....
I bought this pack with my own money, I usually donโt write a lot of reviews, but I am impressed with this bag. This review is from my personal experience with this particular bag.I had a much larger โhigher endโ backpack that is AWESOME.....I had a much smaller daypack that was shoulder carry only. I havenโt backpacked in a while and wanted something better than my daypack but smaller than my larger pack.....something that would get me ready to start backpacking again and get me out comfortably on an overnight. This pack is it!FOR THE PRICE......this pack is pretty impressive. I currently have it loaded at 24 pounds, and it carries well. It looks decent out on the trail and it even has an integral rain cover. It loads easily, unloads as easily, with a โlower packโ zipped opening. It has a decent back pad and hip pads. Plenty of exterior pockets to throw frequently used items in and a lot of ties and cinches to attach things to on the exterior.Cosmetically, it looks very nice; it appears to be made well. The colors are vivid, and it looks like a much higher end pack. Again, I am packing 24 pounds to get me back where I can carry a pack; but I have probably carried it fully loaded 20-30 miles and I have no reason to believe it will quit on me anytime soon. I would definitely buy this bag again and I would definitely encourage all of my friends, if they needed a more โmoderately pricedโ bag, to get this one!PROS:1. The colors are very pleasing.2. Very well made.3. Plenty of room, especially if you pack light!4. Plenty of pockets.5. Plenty of lashings/tie attachments.6. Integral rain cover.7. Hip pads are up to the job.8. Back pad is comfortable.9. Separate bottom sleeping bag compartment.10. It helps our veterans.....the people that ensure we have the freedom to USE a bag like this!!!!11. The COST!!!!CONS:1. Back pad sits right on your back.....you will sweat. All in all, it is a very nice bag......FOR THE PRICE! It is an EXCELLENT bag for someone wanting to downsize from a larger bag, upgrade from a day back, or try a โbetter madeโ backpack to see if they are going to enjoy the hobby before spending a LOT of money on a โbetterโ pack. IT IS NOT A $400 PACK!!!! But for less than $75 brand new, shipped to your door.......uhmmmmm......you canโt go wrong! Donโt hesitate, buy this bag and you wonโt be disappointed!

AMAZING & very sturdy backpack!
This backpack is simply amazing!!!!I used it going on a month long trip throughout Europe & i could fit so much into it!!!The quality is beyond expectations. Super resistant fabric & zippers, nothing moves, rips or breaks! Even tho I used packing cubes for all my clothes Iโd always end up adding more along the journey either a pair of shoes or more bags, small things bought here & there etc. Iโd often add on top of the cubes before closing the top over or just use one of the many hooks on the outside to carry random stuff & even out the weight on the bag. At times I had to really stuff things inside that main compartment of the backpack to fit & pull the straps pretty tight so the backpack would appear smaller from the outsideโฆ..as flying on the low-cost airlines like easy jet, Volotea & others can be a pain but I never had one issue fitting the bag in the overhead in the cabin or looked over the size limitsโฆOn comfort level, I will say the backpack is extremely comfortable to carry around. I had to walk a few miles with it on my back & couldnโt really feel I was carrying over 50lbs. The various straps & padded does help a lot. There are MANY great features of this bag so hard to pick one but Iโll definitely say the quality of the fabric, the sturdiness & the multi pockets & straps adjustable & all over the bags are a big plus!!!I should point out that you can also adjust the straps on the arms part so you can adjust the bag lower or higher depending on your height which is very convenient & helps if the bag is heavy etc..I should also mention the convenient rain cover that not only protects the bag fully wrapping around all edges, but it also attaches to the bottom with a small Velcro so you canโt lose it as you walk or wind etc. When you donโt use it it simply folds underneath the bag at the bottom. Also the few easy to access pockets are nice like the one at the top that folds over the bay when closedโฆ.just many great features I could go on.If you arenโt certain about purchasing I say just order it & you will not regret the decision!!! Plus itโs made in the US. Many bags are cheap crap made in China or small than expected or zippers break etc..not this bag. Itโs nice to see quality & companies that still make sturdy bags.Thank you Duraton for a truly well made backpack!!!!

It is what you would expect at the price point
Decent value for your money. I would consider it to be an entry level pack. Top and bottom straps to short to tie sleeping pad or tent. After 2 days of use, top stitch had a 1" tear at seam. Pack was comfortable, and roomy enough for a 2 day overnight trips. Used as a carry on with no problems. Material seems to be of good quality, but stitching is not the best.

This is a great pack backpack at twice the price and for ~$75 ...
I purchased this backpack a month or two back. I wanted to put it through the paces before I reviewed it to confirm durability and in the field use. This is a great pack backpack at twice the price and for less than $100 it's an absolute steal.Let's start with the one downside - there are a lot of straps, fasteners, and features that accompany this and without some familiarity with backpacks it might be a bit overwhelming. I gave it to my wife to look at and provide feedback and she was a bit lost at the start. She figured it out quickly because it's a backpack and not assembling furniture but there is a lot to take in.The Pro's are many but here are a few: 1) the emergency para-cord bracelet has to be worth a few bucks and it's thrown in for free 2) it is hydration compatible so you can buy a bladder of your choice to put inside the pack. This probably saved me $40 in upcharges from other manufacturers 3) multiple access points and rain cover for ease of access and protection from elements and 4) heavy duty construction for a backpack at this price. It's pretty light weight but the construction is solid. I'm guessing if you aren't spending a ton on marketing you can pass the savings on to the end customer. Finally, I just took an overseas trip and used this backpack as my carry on. I had it full, but not stuffed, and didn't have any issues with fitting it in the overhead or meeting the dimension requirements. I was very happy with the performance of the backpack as I wondered around urban environments and it held up well when I loaded it with a ton of weight to move some bottles of wine from the store back to my hotel. That is a lot of weight on material and shoulder straps.

Great pack at a great price, not for tall folks
This pack is a great value and is fantastic for backpacking. First trip I took with it was a 2.5 day hiking into the mountains. It performed VERY well. The pack has A good main compartment and a quality sleeping bottom compartment. The sleeping bag compartment was a bit small for my bag, sleeping pad and inflatable pillow. I had to really compress my bag to get it in.BEWARE TALL PEOPLEI am 6 foot tall and about 190 lbs. This pack is too short for me. It wonโt sit well on my hips and puts a slight strain on my shoulders when hiking. While I love the pack other wise, and it performed great otherwise, but I wouldnโt recommend it for people taller than about 5โ9โ. It fits my girlfriend perfectly and she is 5โ9โ.

Versital - Gets the job done
Not much to dislike and and a lot to be pleased with. I used this pack for an weekend trip with my family. It fit all my needs for a summer backpacking trip. The pack is very well made (and made in the US)! No issues with zipper, clip or strap functionality. The elasticized weather shield over the lower compartment zipper made using this zipper a bit awkward to use. Fully loaded with about 26 pounds of gear, it carried easily. Micro adjustments to the shoulder straps kept it comfortable. I am an older, 5' 7", 190 lb retiree. Have not backpacked in literally decades, but had the opportunity to join my grandson, daughter & husband, and son on a short trip. The pack met my needs and was certainly affordable. Hope to use it again next year.

UNBELIEVABLE BAG!
This bag was perfect! I hiked the Camino de Santiago in Spain and it work and functioned perfectly. As you can see from the photo, I'm a "big" guy 6'1" and weigh enough. This bag was ABUSED! It was loaded, packed, stuffed, thrown around, zippered, and unzipped. And that was just one day of 25 days! This occurred over and over for 25 days and this bag was perfect. I had an Osprey before. It was heavy and didn't hold up. This bag comes with a rain cover (Osprey, that'll cost you another $32 bucks!) And it works as a carry-on. Look at the picture and believe me; this bag was FULL and ABUSED for 25 days and never had an issue. Not one seam came loose, no strap issues, nothing. BUY IT! It's worth every penny!

Good value!
Pack preforms as advertised. It is very durable and waterproof. I like it except I donโt care for the pocket arrangement nor the duffel style bag. My next pack will be a fillet style for easier access to center. It is a very durable pack. I have abused this one and have had no problems.
