First of all, very reasonably priced. Love that. Secondly, I have combination skin that is VERY sensitive. Any other toner I’ve tried, alcohol or not, my skin would actually start burning after a couple uses. This one isn’t watery either - it’s more like a gel-water, so it’s thicker. I use it on cotton rounds. I’ve used this probably about 8 times or so (2-3x week) and it has really stepped up my face care game. I did try using it two days in a row and my skin did seem to burn a teensy bit, but nothing compared to any other toner. I just took it as a message from my body that I shouldn’t be using it every day. 3x per week is perfect for me. My pores are smaller (mainly why I started hunting for toners), my acne is definitely under control (hormonal acne on jawline/neck from stress is my nemesis), and my skin is so much smoother and more hydrated than it has been in recent years. I highly recommend giving it a shot if you’ve been looking for a gentle yet effective toner!

I like this toner. It’s hydrating and while it uses LHA and PHA to exfoliate, I used it every day with no irritation. Prior to trying this, I would usually use a gentle exfoliating toner maybe 2x to 3x per week and was able to decrease that to 1x to 2x per week with pretty much the same results after 2 to 3 weeks of consistent use of this toner. I’m pretty lazy, so this was definitely a perk for me. I have somewhat sensitive skin and I appreciated how gentle and hydrating this toner was on my skin. To be clear, I used after cleansing, but after applying a mugwort first essence (maybe 2 or 3 layers) and before serum/treatments and moisturizer. I would definitely recommend.

I am thrilled with this toner! I only started using toner regularly about 18 months ago because most are too rough and drying on my skin. The best I could do was watered down rose witch hazel. I did want to find a toner that works for skin improvement and better use of serums and moisturizers. This toner is liquid and has a distinct silky feel to it, but doesn't leave a tacky or sticky residue when dried. It smells crisp and clean and gives a very refreshing boost when applied. I use a soft, thin cotton pad. It was not rough on my skin, did not cause irritation, and best of all my face did not feel tight or dry afterwards like it does with many toners. It is such a treat, a luxury in a way, to use this each night. If you have sensitive skin or if you've had a rough time with other toners, I'd strongly suggest giving this one a try! 100% would recommend.

This is made in Korea, and one of the things I like about skin care from Korea is that most Korean people I know have WONDERFUL skin. I trust that maybe it has something to do with their skin care products. This toner is different from other toners, because it has some thickness to it. It isn't gel like, nor is it watery. It's somewhat in between, but applies on skin with easy absorption. The scent is not that noticeable, but it is very moisturizing. I tested this out on the back of my hand to test sensitivity and right now, the back of my hands are soft and smooth, and hydrated well. This is a 200ml bottle and you only need a little amount for face and neck, so I think this is value for money. Would recommend this, it's good quality.
